Aimée
Camelot's pack - fae - single - Wunjo

Before long, Aimée caught the smell of her alpha, waking from his den. It saddened her to think that now most of the wolves were awake. Most being the three in the camp. She turned her head right as he howled, her ears swiveling forwards. She tried to line her eyes up to him using his scent and howl, and managed to get pretty close. Something about the alpha howling made the Wunjo relax. Each day he woke, lived, and howled meant another day of pack life. It was hard in such a small pack, and though he didn't have many wolves to govern the responsibility of this pack had to cause some stress. Being Wunjo, she knew how it felt to have another wolf's life in your list of responsibilities.

She stood slowly, blinking her eyes softly. She walked slowly, leaving shallow paw prints that the rain would wash away, and the earth would forget about. That was the thing about life though, no mater how many paw prints you left, they would always fade into the forgotten. Some wolves wanted to be remembered and leave a mark, but those marks were too often scars. It was a short walk to the alpha, who sat in the middle of camp. Stopping in front of him she dipped her head low, showing respect and loyalty.
"Good morning, Camelot. How are you today?" She spoke kindly and softly, her voice sweet and smooth trying to be polite and keep her manners. Her eyes looked at his face, the gold flecks trying to outshine the green ones in the sunlight.

{{ Admeta ;,.·`·.,;Camelot Urùz }}

Watching as the alpha emerged she noticed he seemed a bit pained. Tilting her head for a moment she dismissed it. Blinking her sepia gaze into the trees she grew bored slowly. She wondered if her packmates even trusted her as she exchanged looks with the healer. Nodding a greeting in return she flicked her ears at the howl of the alpha. She missed the bigger pack. The ones who lived were a few females, her and Camelot. Quietly huffing she stood and shook her long shiny pelt. Admeta wondered if this pack really had much to offer. She mentally harshed herself for thinking that way.
Flicking her large ears and yawning again, she sat back down and began nipping at her pelt to clean it of the pine needles that stuck to it from her bed. The femme looked a bit bored or maybe even lonesome. But that is how she generally was so it never really attracted attention. She watched as the alpha settled to chat with Aimee and lied down. So it was going to be one of those days. Admeta closed her eyes a few moments as the sun reached through her silvery pelt and into her lean frame.

Xenon;;5 years;;female;;fehu;;xenon's pack;;

The midnight black fehu swished her tail through the dirt, pushing aside the twig ridden rubble. Xenon rose to her paws, toes tipped white, and shook out her seemingly featureless fur, her large ears pricking forward as she listened for movement outside of her place of rest. The Fehu could hear her brother lurking outside, excitedly waiting to practically worship the dirt and grass she strode over. With a quick roll of her brilliant amber eyes, and another short shake of her fur, she carefully placed one petite paw in front of the other, walking out slowly and dramatically. Vanadium had lay in the dark brown dirt outside of her den, his grey and white tail sweeping away what seemed to be a small dust storm. The Eihwaz lept up from where he lay and gave her chin several licks before the fehu flashed her teeth and sent him on his belly. Vanadium let out a quiet, distressed yip and crashed to the ground, his fur blending with the dirt as he rolled onto his back, apologizing for something he was unsure of. Xenon raised her tail and gave another short growl, before slowly striding over to the nearby stream, her light pink tongue flashing rapidly out from her mouth as she swallowed the clear, crisp water.

Vanadium;;5 years;;male;; eihwaz ;;Xenon's Pack;;

The tiny eihwaz quickly rose up from his place of rest in the clearing, jumping up and shaking out his grey and white fur, nearly tipping himself over. Vanadium quickly regained his balance and launched himself into a quick trot, skidding across the loose dirt as he planted his rear firmly on the ground and furiously began to scratch at his flea ridden black ears. The Eihwaz then straightened out his posture, wondering for a second what it would be like, as a higher rank such as the Raido or Gebo. He let out a loud and dramatic huff before picking his rear up from the dirt, his tail low and wagging, ears back, as he trotted off to his sister's den. Peering in, he spotted her slightly larger frame, curled up in the dirt. His tail involuntarily wagged and his head lowered, excited for her to awake. He decided to lay outside of her den, tail still wagging in the dirt as he awaited his sister's waking.
Finally, he heard shuffling inside of her den as she rose to her paws, and he immediately picked up his small head, amber eyes frantically searching the darkness for his sister. His tail wagged furiously and he gave pathetic whimpers as he frantically licked at his fehu's chin, his entire rear end wagging from side to side as Xenon accepted his submission. Suddenly, the pure black fae turned and bare her teeth at him, and he sunk to the ground apologetically. He yelped in fear and tucked his tail, waiting to see what she would do, but to his surprise-and relief- she only gave a short growl and the raise of a tail before turning to go and take a drink of the clear running stream. Vanadium rose to his paws and shook the dirt out of his fur, accidentally spraying another packmate. The Eihwaz yelped again in fear and ran from the angry packmate, tail tucked between his legs.

    ;; five yrs ;; brute ;; fehu ;; his own ;;

The pack looked quite silent this morning, such as every other. Since the number of members was cut in half, and many of us lost relatives of friends, the mornings, evenings, and usually the afternoons as well, were quiet. Camelot still mourned for the loss of his brother - the lead patroller, the raido, his best friend. He'd only had a few faes left, who'd probably still care more for their own feelings, than for refilling the pack member spots.

It didn't take long, however, for Aimée to approach him. She was usually the first one, if Khadijah hadn't woken up yet. He felt comfortable around the blind fae, and he appreciated her as his company. The question, however, did not come very unexpected. "
A little pain in the legs. I'm getting old. I've used my legs too much, probably." The brute answered, his eyes floundering over the trees, reaching out, his nose wide open, searching for prey. "Our reserves are going down. We must hunt today - and I'll probably take Khadijah with me. You need to watch out where you're going, if we aren't here." He said, his eyes going back to Aimée's blind ones. He was worried for her life, even though he knew he shouldn't. He knew she was more vulnerable when her sight lacked, but she could perfectly care for herself, and she'd proven that frequently. But still, the fatherish feelings he had for all the faes in the pack wouldn't go away just without any consequences.

The fae shook her head at the alpha, a small chuckle escaping her soft white lips. "I have this camp memorized. Don't worry." She knew the words were useless the moment they came out of her mouth. She knew he would, because that's what kind of alpha he was. "I will," she added, hoping that would give him a bit of peace. "But I want you to come see me when you're done. I have a herb that will help your pain, and it'll only take me a little while to fix you up. Promise you'll come by?" She asked, her tone soft and low, filled with care. She almost sounded like a mother talking to a pup, but there was something else there. A tone of respect that laced with worry. Sure, he was a big strong alpha, but more than that he was a friend. Aimée took her ears back a bit with a caring half smile.

Camelot heared her chuckle before he saw the smile on her face. His ears were folded backwards - had he truly just seen a black shadow move by? He put his nose in the air, smelling, and he knew it before he saw it. That black wolf at the stream was very clearly visible - but he didn't need her looks to see who she was. "Get down!" The fehu commanded, this time his voice not as soft and caring as it usually was. He didn't knew how many guardians Xenon had brought this time, but if they were after his pack, he wouldn't stand a chance. None of the wolves that were left in Camelot's pack could stand up against a warrior. Not even himself, with his old paws.
He didn't knew they would come this close, even though she didn't seem to have noticed the other wolves around them yet. Camelot growled, seeing the fae alone - he could take her down by instance. But he knew that the members of Secret's pack would be much more powerful, much more focused on gaining territory instead of the survival of the pack, and he knew how they chose their leaders.
But he had to try. Camelot pushed his belly against the ground, his head low, his lips pulled up in a dominant snarl. One bite, right in that exact spot, and he'd be the winner. Just one. He began to creep up to the stream, his eyes focused on the black fae.

Aimée's eyes widened at the alpha's orders, wanting to know what was going on. Without hesitation she obeyed and we stomach was flat to the ground, her ears down and tail curled around her back leg. She could smell it now, wolves of the rival pack. The Wunjo did everything she could to lie flat, but her white coat was poor camouflage, especially against the green of the forest. What if they saw the pale fae and attacked? Aimée was no fighter, a it was hard to fight with only ear and nose. She was scared, though not for herself. Death was something she didn't fear. Her own death that is. But the death of Camelot? Or Khadijah or the Urùz? That she feared. "Camelot..." She whispered quietly, barely loud enough for the alpha to hear.

Admeta,.·;·.,Camelot Urùz

The female watched the two conversing and lifted herself from her spot to tell her fehu she was going to go and hunt. Badly she wanted to get more numbers into the pack. But there were many methods to that. So far no liners wandered by. But excitement from his sudden order to Aimee she followed his gaze. Knowing he would only get angry if she interrupted the slender female mived up next to Aimee. "It us just me, Meta." She whispered to the crouching female and narrowed sepia eyes at the black form. Her brown topped silvery pelt stuck up. Flicking her tail behind her she growled almost silently and gave a flicker of bared teeth as she watched the fae. Her eyes turned up to Camelot.

Xenon;;5 years;;female;;fehu;;xenon's pack;;

The black fae finished her drink and lifted her head, looking defiantly around at her surroundings, her small black ears pricked forward as she heard quiet, near silent, rustling beside her. Xenon's amber gaze flashed toward the noise, but she saw nothing, and promptly lowered her ears, slightly uninterested. Hmph. Must have been the birds. The fehu thought to herself, leaning down to take another quick drink before she'd head back to camp. But...that rustling. She couldn't get over it. She lowered her head and pricked her ears forward once more, taking one small step forward toward the original rustling. A soft growl escaped her throat as she walked ever so slowly forward, her hackles bristling and brilliant banner tail in the air, fur sticking out un-gracefully. Another rustle, this time in the bush behind her. She snarled and turned on it, batting it with a small paw. Vanadium! Get out of there! The fehu snapped, spotting her brother's matted grey and black fur between the leaves. The black fae growled in annoyance and glared at her brother. Well, I suppose you can be of service, assuming you've been here since I have. I assume I'm going crazy, but did you hear the rustling over there? The fehu motioned with her snout toward hidden Camelot and Aimée.

Vanadium;;5 years;;male;; eihwaz ;;Xenon's Pack;;

The eihwaz had watched his sister go, and silently crept toward her, after being angrily chased away by a grumpy pack mate. Silently, the tiny male had easily been able to hide in the bush as Xenon took a drink, but he too, had heard the whispers and slight rustling. The eihwaz had shifted away, and to his dismay, alerted Xenon of his presence as the black fehu had begun to inspect the strange rustlings ahead. The small eihwaz dejectedly climbed out from under the bush, his head low and his tail tucked, whimpering softly at his sister. Xenon, please, don't be mad! The words came out more pathetically than Vanadium had hoped. The eihwaz yelped and stood up beside his sister. He was nearly half her size and couldn't put up much of a fight if the aggressive fehu decided he was out of line, but instead, his slightly bigger older sister only asked him a question. Ohh! Oh yes, Xenon, rustlings and whispers too! The omega stammered out quickly, his dirty tail tucked between his legs.

The brute had crept already a few meters, when he heared the squeal of his name coming from Aimée. Her voice sounded frightened - very frightened. He knew she'd have no idea what was happening, because she could only smell, hopefully, the other wolf. He glared back, his eyes resting upon the small, huddled white form that was Aimée. When he looked back forward, Xenon just disappeared between the bushes, and Camelot sighed. "Nothing." He shook his manes, arose from his creeping position and went back to Aimée, who seemed to be very scared at the moment. "Nothing happened."

Camelot's eyes then turned towards Admeta, who was a little behind Aimée. "
We should go hunting. Prey is scarce, and I don't want us to starve. Do you know if Khadijah has already stood up?" He said, looking at the den of the fae.
