Sol lifts his muzzle, scenting the unusually sweet air and then shakes his head when he smells nothing but the faintest trace of prey...and wolves. His seemingly-bottomless-pit of a stomach rumbles but he wont hunt, this was pack territory and besides he and Storm had already taken a few rabbits, three actually and an odd bird that reminds him of a humans' turkey-but those were not enough to fill a grown wolves' belly, let alone line it. A goat, sheep or deer though that would be a different story all together.. The huge male shakes his head again and huffs.
Storm
The large black male smiles impishly at his friend. "Relax Sol, we are almost there, howls that way it'll be fine-follow me." purposefully, he sets out towards the howls he had heard after picking up the rabbits certain that the other would take the bird with him. Large paws carry him swiftly, and his long tail heralds his aproach. A few minutes later he is in the clearing with three wolves that smell strongly of Pack-untainted by the illness, and other loners. "Come on Sol." says the male darkly as they approach the pack-wolves, "The worst that they can do is kill us." dark humor and he knows it, but what in these past years wasnt dark?

Sherbet woke long before her brother, his body warm next to hers. As her eyes fluttered open to reveal a sun-dappled den, a yawn pulled open her jaws, cracking her jowl. For a moement, she contemplated snuggling back into her brother's warm fur and going back to sleep, before the thought of her duties struck. She struggled to her feet, her legs lithe and quick as she eased her way out from the sibling's den, trying not to disturb Konan. Despite how much she could despise her elder brother, she knew how much little sleep could effect one's day. With a quick glance behind her to make sure Konan hadn't followed, she slipped out into the pack camp. A lot of her pack mates were already awake, though none that she could see. The scent, however, of those that she knew was brought to her nose, distant but strong. She also picked up the scent of loners. At the thought, her fur bristled angrily. What was with the loners just casually strolling onto their territory? Especially with the disease around and all. She sighed, shaking out her white pelt, her hazel eyes wandering around camp. It seemed no-one else was around.

The brute felt the warmth of his sister leave him almost as immediately as she stood. He opened his eyes with a groan as Sherbet left the den, a tawn flitting across his lips. His eyes were blurred from sleep, and his movements almost drunk as he shook out his pelt and gazed out into the bright morning light. He could see no-one from where he was but Sherbet, though the scent of his packmates intruded on the musky scent of the den. He yawned again, this tim louder, and stretched, his back cracking when doing so. Silently, he padded out into the camp after his sister, dimly smelling loners as well. He muttered the word as if it were a curse, before yawning for a third time that morning, and momentarily forgetting all about them.

The alpha turned, hearing more loners and smelling prey. That was all they needed, more loners. Now the pack members she brought were outnumbered by loners. Great. She thought silently to herself. "Who goes there?" Aimée asked, her voice carrying over the air in the way that a bird flew. She stood, looking powerful as she stared past the two new wolves who had game with them. Her pelt was going wild around her in the wind, patches flowing across her chest and around her neck. She held her head high and full. Her frame seemed magnified by the fur that whirled and teased around her. She was a small wolf though, and her true height was still visible.
She breathed steadily, listening to the breathing of the other wolves. Though she faced the two brute loners, her ears swiveled back, listening for any movement from the original loners. It was mid day now, and the sun shone brightly over the wolves. The birds sang, and for the first time, in this odd and possibly dangerous situation, Aimée felt like she was home. Like this was how it was all supposed to go, no matter what happened. Her eyes closed in a slow blink before reopening them, the gold flecks seeming to be on fire, and the green emerald ones as calm and cool as ever. Silently, the alpha waited.

Storm
Storm drops the three rabbits at the feet of the she-wolf he presumes to be the Alpha...because she had spoken. "Excuse me ma'am, my name is Storm...i was seeking-with my friend to join your pack. I'm Blind but i am a good fighter and hunter. If you don't accept me, i understand ma'am but please take my kills in exchange for safe-passage through your territory." a half-smile. "I mean no harm ma'am." his ears flick as his friend steps forward.
Sol
Sol smiles at his friends chivilirous manner and steps forward. "Pardon the intrusion to your territory Alphess, i am Sol." his bird is added to the pile of rabbits. "I walk the lonely ways with Storm, and also seek to be apart of your pack. I am not incapitated, but i am a good guard and pick up things quickly. My-and my friend are untainted by the illness we have all fled from. If you do not need or want me in your pack i understand but take my kill as a trade for safe passage." he too smiles, even though she seems to be looking past him.

Vestra kept silent as pack wolves showed up. She studied the white female below her, who seemed to not be looking at either of the loners. A weakness, blindness. A smirk perked up on the fae's maw and she turned her head seeing two new loners, softies. Loners who searched out a pack were never loners in her eyes. They were just followers, weak, easy to bend at the knee. Argos was like that at first, till she toughened the brute up. Yeah he gets scared sometimes, but when he know Vestra isn't scared he shouldn't be. Vestra felt a growl at the bottom of her throat as the new loners came into view. She wanted to leap out at the stupid soft brutes, but it would be a death trap. Slowly she turned on the boulder and bounded off, her paws beating on the earth as she ran across the earth. She couldn't just attack a blind alphess and her two packs mates as well two soft brutes with only one other with her. Her pace quickened as she moved along the Alaskan forest floor. Argos was bounding behind her, just at her flank and was panting within the minute. He knew why they were running, it wasn't fear, it was Vestra's anger pulsing through her.

Sherbet watched Konan with curious hazel eyes as he continued to yawn again and again and again. A grin crept up onto her feature, and she rolled her eyes at him. Noting that he too smelt the loners, she pricked her ears, returning her gaze to the forest. "Do you want to go see them, Konan?" Sherbet asked, her own eyes alit with curiosity. She turned back to her elder brother, demanding an answer with her eyes. He nodded, somewhat reluctantly. She grinned. "C'mon then!"

Konan shook his head in disbelief at Sherbet's seemingly endingless energy. He nodded when she suggested the go, mainly to stop her pestering him later. He sighed, shaking his pelt out, before following his snow white sister as she led the way. Bounding over rocks and twigs, roots and leaves, that lay in their path, Konan soon fell into step with his sister, a small fission of tension still remaining between them. They entered the area that their alpha and packmates were in, and Sherbet immediately went rigid. Konan's eyes raked over the group; four loners, of whom one was blind. He tensed when they introduced themselves, but said nothing.

Storm
The Black and Silver male flicks his ears at the departure of two wolves...and the arival of two others. Outnumbered, outclassed? No, not outclassed, but yes, certainly, deffinately outnumbered. If they attacked they may depart with their lives...maybe, hopefully. Storm flicks his ears uncertainly, listening but doesnt move, doesnt give up the ground his paws hold. "Look, we arn't looking for Trouble Ma'am, if you don't want us, we'll be on our way." his sensitive nose picks up the scents of musk, mint, sun-warmed fields..and something he cant put a paw on...
Sol
Sol kneeds the ground with his large paws causing massive dents to form in the soil, something was up...and in his odd mind where he dislikes thinking ill of any wolf he thinks they are contemplating a fight, that maybe this alpha female was blind too-that maybe this pack would take them in. A soft rumble of hope builds in his chest, but doesnt break the air, only causes his gold and off-scarlett chest to faintly vibrate. A smile is still plastered on his face as he leaves the talking to his partner.

The fae took in their scents deeply, studying them in silence for a few moments. They were not contaminated with The Gray, those infected have a distinctive smell and odd behaviors. Her ears went flat when the one called Storm said he was blind. Her heart sunk a little and her thoughts felt silent. She took a step closer to the brute, her nose inches from his cheek and closed her eyes. "Me too," she spoke softly, "What are the chances. I'm blind too." The fae said louder and backed up from the brute. Really though, what were the odds of two blind wolves meeting? Despite him being a stranger, she wanted to know his story. Now wasn't the time for that though.
Aimée turned her face back towards Sol. The two had even brought game. Not big game, but food was always a help, especially three rabbits and a bird. The alpha nodded her head before speaking. "Thank you both for the game. You are welcome to stay and we would be glad to have you. I must warn you though, my pack is small." Two more wolves for the pack was a great addition, especially brutes. She relaxed when the other loners left and two of her pack members came to the clearing, Konan and Sherbet. She rather liked the two and was glad to see their loyalty. Turning her body towards the forest she spoke once more. "Let's go home. All of us."
