"Well why just me?" Evan was baffled now. "Why not your mate? Don't you trust her more than me?" Evan tilted her head. This brute was confusing, yet he was understandable too. The fea looked behind her and then at Dae. Now, Evangeline had no idea what to say unless Dae said something.

Dae remained silent for a few moments. "I just cannot let myself trust a pack female. Not again. I had a rogue female I was almost mates with. But she...she was taken by the alpha of another pack. I left the rogues then. She was the most trustworthy soul I had ever met. You see pack wolves put all their trust and devotion to the pack and the alpha. Not loners and rogues. At least not how i experienced it. There a mate was the most precious thing in your life. " He said quietly. This was a side of him that rarely was seen. It was reserved for the ones he could trust.

Vixen trotted through the trees, just wanting to be alone. She was upset, not paying attention to her surroundings. She had said no when dae asked her for pups because.. well she didn't think he was loyal or loved her for that matter. She glanced up at the night sky, sitting down.

"I find mates to be a waste of time, honestly. Sometimes they hold you back. Also, you never know their story. But sometimes you can tell they're up to no good... Or... Loving and honest..." Evan trailed off and sighed. "And about devotion, all rogues that at least I've met are like packs as well, and vice versa for the fact they hate pack wolves. But like I said, Divine and Merlin were dictators- and... I always thought they had strange names... Merlin was the head brute, his mate was Divine."

"I guess...nevermind. I should either get you to camp or you can just do whatever." Dae abruptly returned to his guarded attitude. It seemed leaving was his only option. He had ticked off Vixen and let himself talk to this rogue that was barely even rogue material compared to his life. Dae found himself stupid for just trying to gain a companion of a friend from this loner. "When you join and want to support the alpha tell him about me. Real me. not the stupid act I put up. That should gain you his trust. Heck take my rank. I give up." He growled and stood, muscles rippling under his pelt as he dug his paws into the ground and bared long pointed fangs. "Go. Just get out of here." He said lowly. No one could see him broken. Nit Evan not Vix not anyone.

Archer slid out from under the roots and padded quietly towards her. He hesitated, thinking of his love before. But he couldn't get the image of her Autumn eyes out of his head. He could be mean but it just wasn't in him. He sighed eternally, backing away and disappearing in the shadows.(XD archers a creeper)

Vixen had followed Dameon, stopping as she saw the fae, her lips drew back and a terrible snarl escaped her lips as she walked stiff legged behind dae. She flattened her ears, hearing the Evans words of rogues. She growled even as Dae told her he was leaving. Seeing them gone, she turned away and stalked through the forest, her vision hot with anger.

Camo looked down at the pile that was before her and she took in a deep breath. Her autumn eyes just staring down till she thought her heard a sigh. Her head turning and her ears perked high up on her head her eyes scanning around she saw no one "That was weird.. I am just going get back to my den." lowering down and grabbing the leaf again her mouth she starts to move quicker backwards to the main pack grounds wondering if Archer was out and about or if he was still in his den. As her paws met pack ground she drags to her den pulling the leaf back into a corner that she was going to make the area for her supplies to be held.

The black female was rather tired and with on one around and no one to talk to she walked to the little opening in the den. Sitting down on her rump her black tail wrapped around her bottom. You could see nothing of her body her black pelt blending in perfectly the only thing visible that would really tell you she was there was her autumn eyes glowing from her sitting position. Feeling her chest expand she took in a deep breath and let out a yawn her jaws parting and her teeth flashing, as her tongue curls. Bored. Tired. And in a Pack. What an amazing day.

Archer slipped through the undergrowth, starting in towards the camp. He paused at the entrance to the medicine den, his blue eyes lit up by the moon. He flattened his ears and took a deep breath, stepping into the den to speak with Camo. He would feel bad forever if he didn't. He strode a couple of steps but let out a breath as he bumped into her, his nose close to hers. He chuckled, sliding a bit backwards, "I'm sorry."

Camo wasn't paying attention till she felt someone bump into her. Her autumn eyes turning to feel a wet nose rather close to her's and then the blue eyes she knew who it was almost in an instant. Her ears were down on her head and if she could of blushed she would of but her coat was black enough. "It's okay." she smiles feeling him take a step back she moves her paws on the ground to get comfortable again "Uh Archer I am sorry about well.. earlier" her autumn eyes looked away from him and down at the ground. "I didn't mean to make you run away" she stayed staring down at her paws.

Evan halted when Dae growled at her and then gave him a sideways glance. She huffed and then went back from where they came from, not saying a single word. When Dae was out of sight, she began thinking over and over, Great Evangeline, first ex. rogue you see and now he doesn't trust you. Great. Back to square one again. and then sat under a large pine tree. There, she began sitting boredly. Evan didn't really care, but she truthfully kind of liked him, as a friend, at least. She shrugged that off and then sighed.

Dae let the grimace on his face be replaced by a frown. Lying down the male whimpered almost silently. It was just insane. He knew what it felt like to take even the smallest liking to another. And the fact he had been so trusting of this female only to be reminded she never wanted to deal with a mate was resounding. That had snapped him out of it. But her reseblance to his precious old mate made it hard to be distrustful or angry with her. He knew she would not understand. Best to chase her off now and save himself from pain later.
