I'm big on plot-heavy one-on-one RP. Ever since my old RP partner went AWOL on me (which still hurts, since we were pretty close and our styles meshed perfectly), though, I haven't been able to get into it that much, plus a lack of time is also an issue. I miiiight be willing to give it another go, provided it was a very literate RP and had an interesting plotline. XD I'm pretty anal about fleshing out my characters though, so I'd have to get to work on that right away. CS or TDF is fine, as long as one-liners are banned.

So you guys are saying that, potentially, if we had a roleplay on CS (or on TDF for that matter) that was vaguely like the CS roleplays but was a more mature and interesting plot with wiggle room, you'd join? Anybody wanna brainstorm with me? x3 Like I said, I really want an excuse to flesh out my gryphon, Aegrell.

I would :3 If you just want to make it for Proboards I can help with that too. I don't know much, but I usually manage to make them look ~*~okay~*~ XD I had a pretty successful all-animal (almost) role-play that a friend and I put a lot of effort into- we had over 150 animals allowed and we researched a ton about each one so members who wanted to role-play something funny like a saiga antelope or a takin or a secretary bird would know a bit. We had all seven continents as the categories, and had real biomes for each one (aird desert, semi-arid, tundra, taiga, grasslands, deciduous forest, savanna/plains, alpine, rainforests, etc.) that were REALLY there, with the exact names and such. And then certain animals were only allowed in certain biomes (a fennec fox was only allowed in the desert, elephants were only allowed in the plains) and had to stay in the continents where they could actually be found. It was a pretty big hit.

I'm not sure why I'm rambling D: Sorry.

I'd love to join an RP with an actual plot. `Irreversible (site I described above D;) didn't have plots except those characters wanted to make themselves...although I do terribly at places that are either THIS IS HAPPENING AND YOUR CHARACTER MUST DO THIS but also places that allow their members to have rainbow-colored horses that only eat strawberry shortcake and fly through the clouds and have pet mice, etc.

Personally I've never owned a gryphon, but if someone donates a nice-looking one to an adoption place and I can get it (if my characters don't have art, I can barely do anything with them Dx) I'd love to :3

I'd love to, but since you don't really know me I doubt that was directed towards me. x3 Besides, I don't have a gryphon character, the closest is my dragon charrie Lucio. :3

XD I don't know about very literate. I find it nearly impossible to write very much in one post. Certainly a couple of good paragraphs, not just 5 sentence ones, would be good, but I can't see being able to force myself to write more than that regularly. XD Kam doesn't do fluff and all that. My RP posts are all very straight-forward and too the point so by the time I've said all I needed to/could say I usually have three or four paragraphs.
although, I agree with banning one-liners. Those are just infuriating XD
I'm actually trying to get a couple of members of my RP to post longer posts =P they only do the required minimum of five sentences and often have very little to add. They also tend to go off on one on one tangents by themselves and leave the rest of us behind all confused by the massive block of RP. >_< I don't want to give them warnings for it, but they're really pushing my buttons.

I'd be up for a gryphon/fantasy RP. Those are always really interesting due to lack of rl natural restrictions XD

so anyway, yes, I think I am going to try to analyze my sister XD I think I know her well enough to at least get a general idea.

Bleh I can't RP at alll. I'm too direct and forward with what I say. So it ends up being maybe 5 sentences at most. It's hard for me to write with other people. It's too difficult to word properly and keep it long without being repetitive. So I just stopped RP'ing. So all my characters are headmates or good designs XD

Mokapi, I didn't either until like yesterday. :P I was looking at TAN and I saw the gryphon there and the scar on her heel and I was like "that's a decent design, I wonder how she got that scar," and so I came up with this fun fun story for her but never grew fond of the design. In the end I was just like "favorite bird of prey + pretty mammal!" and thus Aegrell was born. Also, is that forum still active? It sounds hella fun. :3

I'm actually vaguely interested in doing a roleplay online that's like a loosely regulated D&D campaign. I've never played D&D, but I watched a movie called Dorkness Rising (or some such) the other day and I think it would be a lot of fun to have a DM for a long quest roleplay. But I mean, it's just something I'm interested in for the future, so I wouldn't be surprised if nobody else wanted something like that. xD

And, I mean, as long as you capitalize and punctuate properly and actually add to the roleplay with your posts (I really hate roleplaying with antisocial characters for this reason), I'd be cool with you in. :3 I always infodump all of my character's current feelings and sometimes I get into their past during posts, but it's also fun sometimes to just forget all that and just focus on the here and now.

I might have to go look again Dx Their five-character limit scares me though. I'm afraid I'll get five characters I love but then I'll keep finding more...xD I found some amazing gryphon lineart...now I just need someone who can shade/color it in for me >.>

Also, I wish it was, but both of us admins had college/work and it ended up flooding our lives so we couldn't keep it up D: And after one of our mods stole the design and some coding, we weren't able to trust them anymore so we just stuck in into maintenance mode. We're talking about re-opening it in the next few weeks, though, so I'll let you know :3

EDIT: OMG Kheisa your gryphon character is freaking adorable D: If you'd ever make customs of those for the RP in exchange for something else, let me knowwwww. XD
