Jacqueline felt Proton' s paws on her and she realized he was helping her. She remembered he'd dove under and hoped he wouldn't drown in the process of helping her. Many alphas wouldn't do this for just anyone, she thought to herself. She wanted to dive under to see if Proton was okay, but she also didn't want the weight from the water in her coat to cause her to drown.

[Tiger Wolf]

Proton felt his breath becoming heavy, he swam slowly and gently into the shallow end, where he could put his paws on the ground, he relaxed for a little bit and then tried to think of how he could help Jacqueline but not drown.

Jacqueline noticed Proton had been underwater for longer than she could count, and she began to worry about him. What should I do?, she thought, her forehead creased in frustration.

[Tiger Wolf]

Proton had a small idea, he let go of Jacqueline's legs and swam upwards putting his back on her stomach, as he reached the top, she was on his back, Proton coughed some water up, but he was fine "are you alright Jackie?" he asked in a kind tone of voice.

"No, the question is: Are you alright?" She asked him.

[Tiger Wolf]

Proton chuckled slightly before looking up at Jacqueline "i'm absolutely fine" he says with a small splutter "I've been trained for situations like that, in case someone in the pack can't swim and end up drowning" he informs her.

[~Marcie~]

Jacqueline lifted an eyebrow. "Are you saying I can't swim?" She felt a little insulted, but she would eventually get over it.

[Tiger Wolf]

Proton felt slightly awkward "well you could use a little help with your paddling but other than that no, you can swim perfectly well" he smiled to himself, she was in her own way nice but feisty at the same time

That made Jacqueline feel a bit better, but she would practice on her paddling later. "Okay then," she nodded to herself. She realized Proton still had her on his back and said, "Are You going to carry me all day long?"

{Sorry I was swapping rooms and getting my little sister to bed}

Proton laughed "if that's what it takes for you to be safe" he said in a soft tone gently swimming to shore, with Jacqueline still on his back of course.
