Personality: Arizona is rather intelligent and is usually very aware of her surroundings as her large ears allow her to listen to many things very closely and her long legs allow her to see over tall grass. She's exceptionally good at figuring out puzzles no matter how cryptic. But Arizona also has a playful and less serious side to her. If she is not solving problems or concentrating on something then you would most likely find her playing with the pups of the pack or chasing butterflies and frogs. Sometimes she will forget her duty to the pack and she may need to be reminded from time to time.
History: Arizona was always a bit different from other wolves. Most others said she looked more like a tall fox than a wolf, which of course was true. Still, her species isn't all that closely related to foxes, she's a Maned Wolf to be exact. Arizona was born into a small pack in an extremely remote area. After a long drought that lasted about 15 years [Arizona was born near the end of it] most of the pack had died off. She and her mother were the only survivors and they moved to a misty and slowly dying forest. Arizona's mother had told her to watch out as Sun had left and the world was dying. After Arizona turned 3 her mother was killed due to the dying world and she lived on her own for about a year. Finally, she had been accepted into the Sawtooth Pack and worked her way up to Strategist status.

Personality: Aristide is somewhat of a trickster, a trouble maker. He is known to pull small, harmless tricks on the other wolves of the pack. Before he became a part of the Sawtooth Pack, he went a little too far with a prank and was banished immediately. He has learned from his past mistake and tries to keep such tricks very low scale and never on the Royal or Upper Class. Since the banishing, he had gotten a lot more quite as he doesn't entirely know any of the wolves of his new pack. Aristide can be a terrible flirt and show off at times, but not very often.
History: Aristide was born royalty. He was the eldest son to an Alpha of a highly respected pack. His parents had never bothered to teach him right from wrong, so he spent a lot of time messing with the other pups. His mother thought of it a "harmless playing" and his father didn't really notice Aristide at all. The Alpha was too busy taking care of the pack. One day, when Aristide was about three years old, he pulled a stunt that had gone too far. He had always loved the way fire looked and he thought it would cool to set the entire forest on fire. The foolish wolf of course went through with his plan and his father immediately banished a confused Aristide from the pack thinking his son was a "demon". He was genuinely confused as he thought it was just a funny trick. The poor uneducated wolf didn't know the dangers of fire. Aristide spent three years as a loner until he was taken in by the Sawtooth Pack. He was found sick and in dire need of help by a Sawtooth member. But he has dramatically toned down his pranks and has learned to never mess with the Royal Class individuals. He has also gotten a lot more quite over the years.

Demon lept after the demon. His paws burning as he raced over the hot earth. Joining the circle. He was now Circling Ayet who was circling Valdis. Only he was almost invisable in the smoke. He growled lowely. "Your bound to die one day Ayet, and it will be slow... And painful!" he hissed, but he wouldn't leap until Valdis showed signs of needing help.

River was out in the woods hunting while all H*** was breaking lose at the camp. She was on the trail of a rabbit when she suddenly began to feel like she was being watched. Trying not to bring it to what ever was watching hers attention she acted like she was following the rabbits trail when in reality she was trying to catch the sent of what was watching her. But their was no other smell around her maybe her senses where playing tricks on her. She shrugged if off it wasn't uncommon now to be just paranoid with Death and demons around any corner. It was then that she saw a canine foot print to small to be hers and it was still warm to the touch. How was it possible for an animal or demon to not have a sent. She lifted her head laying her ears flat against her head and kept her tail high and erected as a low growl erupted from her throat. "Show yourself!" She demanded. "I know your following me! What ever you are show yourself!" Her muscles tensed as she prepared to fight what ever spy was hiding in the moon lite forest. "Do not fear River. I mean you no harm." A cool contempt voice seemed to whisper threw the nights air. River began to feel a sour pit in her stomach how did it know her name? In the not to far distance a small canine emerged from the bushes. The figure slow walked towards. "I mean no harm to you or your pack." It said as it stepped closer. Her eyes narrowed as she tried to make out what this creature that she couldn't smell was. After she could see it in the full moon light she realized it was nothing more than an old mangy coyote wearing some weird feathers tucked behind it's ear and a bone necklace. "What do you want old timer?" She snapped. "Why for you to be safe. I don't know if you've realized it but the world is not what it used to be my daughter." He said. "What did you call me?" She demanded in a growl. "River I'm your father. My name is Thoth." He said calmly. "Liar!" She snapped not losing the coyotes gaze. "It is true. I know it must be hard for you to accept, but I am your father." He replied. River was confused she had never met or seen her father before he abandoned her mother before she was born, as much as she knew this coyote could be a special demon sent by Death to kill her.

Torka had begun to feel faint - a side effect of the adrenaline that had rushed through his body when the flames licked at his fur. He shuffled forward and then lay down on his uninjured side in the water, lifting his head above water by putting a paw under his skull and panting to breath properly. "...yes." He lied to Toko, pretending that he felt fine. He musn't let his mentor see how much a burn hurt, and try to prove to him that he was strong. "Im fine... Toko?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. "An owl I met once said the sun was warm. It isn't as warm as the... fire, is it?" He asked, dreading that his longing for the sun would only bring hurt like the fire.

[ Torka has never seen the sun, just thought i'd let you know that :B He's heard stories of how warm and beautiful it was, how it was hard to look at it because it hurt your eyes; but he's never seen the sun for himself. Nor felt it. ]

Ayet only had time to roll to the side, avoiding the flaming paws of the demon, though he could still feel the radiated heat from the demon's fire. As he rolled under her, he managed to use his back legs in an attempt to kick her stomach; one of the only parts not engulfed in flames. Growling, he began to circle the demon, trying to size her up and find a weakness. The only thing he could think of was to state he was not afraid; perhaps her fire would return to it's less-hot state. "You don't scare me, you disgusting, mangy waste of space. I'll be happy to rid the world of yet another weak and useless demon." He growled, still circling the demon and her flaming ring.

Valdis attempted to swerve to the left at the last minute, but couldn't and tried to protect her vulnerable stomach. She only succeeded partly because she still got a pretty hard kick in her abdomen. Valdis didn't show any sign of weakening to the alpha's words, but she felt a slight drop in the temperature of her flames. She smiled evily as she tried to strain every last drop of pain from Torka and Toko and the temperature raised half as much as it dropped. Valdis sighed on the inside, almost thankfully though that "You don't scare me" part did have some small effect. Luckily, insults wern't the same as her weakness. A coward could make rude remarks and still be scared. She hissed at Ayet and kept low to the ground this time; wrapping her two tails around her back. Valdis shifted a little and saw Demon off to the side, as if he were her bodyguard. Interesting... She looked over at Ayet and hissed once more, waiting for his move.

Demon noticed what had been happening. Valdis feeded off fear. Turning he looked around for the weakest wolf in the area. His eyes stopped on Chee, the little hybrid had a strong fear of fire and death. Smiling he bounded away. Snagging Chee up in his jaws and ignoring her whines and barks of protest threw her into the smoke and flames. He knew the spot she was in wasn't actaully on fire, but being in there would send fear through every part of her body, hopefully feeding valdis more strength.

Chee stared at the flames with wide eyes. Whinning and crying as the heat hit her. She had never had so much fear in her life, nit since the first time she was caught in a fire. Fear pulsed from her like an open wound and she couldn't control it. She lay there surrounded by flames and smoke, paralized from trying to move.

A whisper of a breeze and the occassional rustle of leaves were all the noise to be heard in the quiet of the day. The air felt heavy and damp despite the height of the sun, which was obscured by the thick gray clouds. Melding into the dark areas of the forest, a likewise colored wolfess padded silently through the light undergrowth. She was not very large, nor exceedingly small but gave the appearence of a solidly built female with a nimble grace about her. Her eyes were rich yellow gold, brighter than most and her countenance was of calmness and serenity itself. Inwardly, she was bothered by the stillness, not even hearing the fluttering for song birds or the scrabble of rodent feet. And the humity. . . it was not comfortable. Her blackened fur was much too thick for this kind of weather. But, she let out no growl of impatience; she would not let her silly emotionals get a hold of her that easily. Instead she ignored the feeling and it soon passed.

This wolfess' mission was to find a new wolf pack. She was all alone in the dangers of the wilderness and only able to hunt small game. There was much safety in a pack she knew. And so she wandered, her nose constantly searching the air for the scent of another wolf. She had been on the trail of a pack, lead by a courageous male, but had mysteriously lost it when her beloved and only brother, Phelan was kidnapped, so to speak, by demons. Her dark ears pressed against her head with a tone of deep remorse and sadness. Suddenly, she had an urge to send a agonized howl into the silent forest, so strong the trees would feel it in their trunks, and the animals would stop in their tracks, filled with the eerie sound. But, no. It would only bring attention from those dark beings, who would be the first to arrive and twist her pure thoughts into evil. No. She must be as still as the forest.

Niko sprang back as the fire started. She could feel the heat all around her, and she was surrounded by a wall of flame. One of the flames flared up in her face. Suprisingly, it didn't hurt anywhere except her Mark. She let out a slight howl before biting her lip and silencing herself. She could feel the 'tails' growing, and it hurt so bad she wanted to cry. Dizzy from the pain, she growled at herself and backed away from the flame. Chee's yips sprang to her ears, and without really realizing what she was doing she jumped over the wall of flame to the other wolf's side. "It's okay. Change into a mouse or something and get on my back. I'll protect you." She knelt down and licked the wolfess's face gently, trying to calm her. The blue flames touched her body, but didn't even singe her fur, not that she noticed.

"It's not like that at all!" Toko quickly replied to his apprentice's question, starting to paddle towards the shore, pushing Torka in front of him. "It's warm, and light, and beautiful. It gives life to the world." The wolf could tell that the young one was in deep pain, and he didn't care that there was still the demon on shore, Torka needed help. "HARU!!! TIMID!!! MYRA!!! HELP!!!" They were wading now, and Toko wanted to be sure someone could heal before they fully went onto the shore.

River turned her head hearing Torka's call she turned her head back to the strange coyote that claimed to be her father her tail low and her ears down. "Your pack needs you River. Maybe I could be of service to them. If you wish to take me to them." Thoth said. "How do I know you speak the truth?" She questioned. "If I didn't I would of already killed you long ago." He replied. River took in what Thoth said and he was right if he wanted to kill her he would of did already. she had many questions that she needed answers to and it would take more than this one encounter to ask them all. "This way." She said and turned and run back to her pack. She ran up to Toko and Torka who were wading in the water and began to whine when she saw Torka's burns. Thoth was behind her and slowly began to step forward. "Don't worry I mean no harm. If you allow me I can heal your wounds and stop the pain." Thoth said. "He's my father Toko, I think he can help." River said hoping that Toko and Torka would allow him to help.
