Leafdapple pads from under the tree, sitting under High-Stones and looking up at her leader. She ponders about what this is all about, and thinks that maybe a kit will become an apprentice, or maybe a Warrior an elder...

Silentpaw pads from the medicine cat den and sits at the entrance, like she always does, and listens, instead of watching. She thinks that maybe they might go into battle. Be ready to protest if you have to She thinks with a sigh.

Appleblossom sits at the Nursery entrance, looking at her bulging belly. She smiles, sniffling at the thought of the beautiful kits that were due very soon. She looks at her leader and listens, watching him while he readies for his announcement.

Darkfire sighs and leaps from the tree, padding to the High-Stones and looking up at his leader. He knew what was going on, or was it something else, maybe? He shrugs and sits all the way in the back, hoping he could walk fast and get it over with.

blazestar;

Blazestar gazed down at his Clan. "As you all know we are a deputyless Clan and I think its time to choose a new deputy.." He mewed and he took a deep breath. "May the cats of StarClan approve my choice of deputy under the last body of Redheart... The new deputy is..." He took another deep breath and mewed at last. "Darkfire." He mewed. "Clan dismissed."

Darkfire didn't look surprised at all, but he tried to make himself look like it. He jumps up, his tail tip twitching. He felt pride radiate from him and he pads to Blazestar. "Thank you, Blazestar." He dips his head and blinks greatfully. "I will make you proud and try to follow in your pawsteps if you ever...." He trails off and shuffles his paws. "I know I won't replace Redheart and I won't try, but I will try my hardest to be a great deputy, and still a wonderful warrior." He says and pads away.

Blazestar nodded. At least he will try and be like Redheart, though Darkfire could never be as good as her. Blazestar padded away.

rainpelt;

Rainpelt walked up to him. "We'll new deputy, what is my new task?"

"Hmm..." He thinks and looks at the small fresh kill pile. "Take out a hunting patrol with Leafdapple, Stormpaw, and Splashpelt." He says, turning around to look through the fresh kill pile. Nothing with maggots or anything. He nods and sits down at the bottom if High-Stones, watching the clan.

Rainpelt nodded and dashed over to Stormpaw who already said yes when Rainpelt didnt say anything. She then ran over to Leafdapple."Darkfire wants a hunting partorl. You in?" She asked her.

Leafdapple nods and pads with her, heading to the entrance where they would be leaving, obviously. She curls her tail over her paws and waits patiently, her pelt shining, as she had just groomed it and made it silky and smooth.

Rainpelt nodded and stopped. "Cant get Splashpelt because she is nusrying. Lets go!" Rainpelt mewed and charged out of camp.

Leafdapple raced after her. "He'll make a good deputy." She says as she races after her.

Rainpelt nodded. "You could say that." Rainpelt nodded as Stormpaw raced behind Leafdapple.
