Arabella looked around, walking idly. No one approached her, no one wanted to talk with her. She sighed and looked around again, this time spotting Crystal and the young man she had been dancing with. She's kissing him, Arabella thought. So why am I not happy for her? Her thoughts trickled through her head before she settled on envy. She's got something I haven't, she thought. Someone who loves me, that isn't family.

Crystal saw Arabellaand waved walking towards her "Mistress, i'm sorry, wait d-did you seeall of that?" she asked standing. She held her hand clutched to her chest , if the Princess saw what would happen to her? Crystal looked frozen in shock and fear, she swallowed terrified.

Nick finished his drink and looked at it, before throwing it up into the air and then door. It was made out of glass so he guessed he shouldn't really throw it up and down, in case he didn't catch it. He sighed, like he thought, the ball was just thorough boredom, and his mask was annoying him. He sighed and got up from the staircase, walking towards the balcony which overlooked a garden. The breeze was nice, as it was definitely a bit stuffy inside. Although Nick wasn't claustrophobic, having all those people in the ballroom seemed to make it smaller, the walls seemed to have come closer in. He sighed and looked up into the sky. Let this Ball be over soon, please. He muttered to the stars. The sooner it was over, the better. He could then go back to Elyadon and back to his normal life, as the third prince and allowed to do what he wished.

((@All, I'll be leaving on the 30th as well and won't be able to go on Chicken Smoothie for basically most of the year, so I'm another one that has to let go of a character. Is there anyone that would be able to take over and roleplay Nick? I'll be able to roleplay until around the 28th and then I doubt I'll be on from then on. I'll pm you the layout of my posts and discuss some things with you. Thanks.))

Serena looked at him. "I believe that's none of your concern at the moment." she said softly. "You just think you could walk back into my life after what has happened?" Something none of her siblings knew was that she hadn't been torn apart from her engagement, but of KC's reaction. The first days she had just been sitting in her windowsill, desperately hoping to see KC. Since her guard was fired at that time, she couldn't go to Avalon herself to see him. They had been more as friends, and Serena had never felt any different about him. She had even wished KC would be the eldest prince. Every knight who returned from Avalon, she asked about KC. And then she heard the stories. That he seemed to have forgotten her. And that was what had broken the girl. Not his reaction on the announcement. Not the scene he made, but the fact he never said goodbye.

He pulled his hand away, as he heard her piercing questions. Although her voice was light, he could tell that what he had done was not forgotten. Sorry wouldn't be enough. Taking a deep breath, he slipped off the bench and dropped to his knees, kneeling in front of the princess. "Serena, I know what I did was terribly wrong. But we couldn't have kept our relationship. You're engaged to my brother.." He looked up into her eyes, trying to sound sincere as possible. "I thought that not seeing you again would ease my pain, but it didn't. I was wrong to avoid you. It made everything worse." He slipped her hand into his, the warmth of his palm seeping into the coldness of hers. "Serena, will you forgive me?" he asked, softly. KC wanted her to be able to trust him again. He wanted to be able to talk with her with out switching into arguments. What he wanted was her, but that couldn't happen. Not ever. His brother and she were to be married. She wasn't going to marry him. The least he could get from her was forgiveness.
