RE: form challenges-- One of the reasons I wrote the big treefox analysis was because it was kind of like form-searching. I had to re-do all the research and, in the end, had the big 'omg this totally fits' revelation. Doing one's own analysis == excellent way of doing research for a form. I would throughly recommend it.

Also, slightly off topic and out of sheer curiosity: is the concept of 'phoenix tears' an actually mythological concept, or just a Harry Potter thing? The only things I could find were Harry Potter and--I kid you not--hemp oil related when I did a quick Google. The Phoenix Wikipedia article has nothing, too. *curious fox is curious*
