And I only get offended when people start bashing singers and the like. Some people like them! I've known that to cause big flame wars on other sites, and... yeah. O.o;

So you're saying that if someone is like bashing you and your beliefs and everything you wouldn't care? You'd only be offended when people are bashing someone else?

Bashing and stating an opinion are different. I agree some of the ways the opinions were stated weren't the best way but its an opinion. Bashing someone because of their own opinion that doesn't match your own isn't good and is offensive.

Liongirl: In a way that would probably be racism, though I doubt anyone would cause an uproar about it. I still have no idea how he managed to win that. If he did something to deserve it that's great, but it seems like they gave it too him for getting elected.

I don't see it as racist to describe people. It's the same as... iunno, saying he's a black-haired president.

I don't like how people make a big deal out of it either, though. Or if you don't like someone, and they're say, Chinese, OMG YOU'RE SO RACIST YOU HATE CHINESE PEOPLE

There was an African American boy in 7th grade who called me racist because I wouldn't talk to him.
For one he was annoying and he kept calling me names. Than he started telling me my ancestors probably had slaves and that because they had slaves I was racist. X_X
I think sine Africans think because they're ancestors were slaves that they have a right to whatever they want. When teachers tell the more annoying African kids at my school to sit down they go "YOURE RACIST"
Also I think my neighbor's kids may turn racist. >.> They're sending there kids to all white schools because they're afraid the kids won't do well in a diversity.

That reminds me of a incident at germany. I went for dinner at the hostel, and two of the classmates on my table had drunk all the water. Telling them off, a boy who was black turned around and said, 'You're racist'. The other boy was ginger, and said 'You're hairist'. I turned around and responded with, 'if you are going to play like that, technically, you are sexist'.
Jeez, all I was saying was you knew I was coming for dinner, I had just taken a I'm-really-worn-out sleep. Instead of having three glasses of water, you maybe, possibly could of left some for me, you know? Now I have to pay money and live off Coke from the vending machine and get sick from too much sugar.
