Hey all~

I's like to share this site with you. It's a semi-lit to literate role-playing site. It's a really nice site, and all of the members are semi-lit+. The rules are pretty limited on the site; basically each thread owner makes their own. I've been role-playing on it for a few weeks now and I really like it.

hello everyone. have you guys ever role-played someone who speak another language apart from english? I have a new Brazilian character who speaks quite a bit of English, but her man language is portuguese. so far it is quite fun.

I would like to know if you have ever role-played a character like mine and if you have any advice for me. thanks!

@toxi - i joined awhile ago, but i'm not active on it . :T

@mountains - i've never tried, but it sounds really fun! i'm currently learning spanish, so that's the only foreign language i know. google translate has never been good to me and i feel like if i had to have a character speak another language, i'd fail miserably. i have had european characters who have their main language as english. that's about it...

mountains - Yeah, I have a French character called Moreau. It's sometimes difficult to get the language right especially when you only know the basics, but I'd either recommend getting a phrasebook (I know this costs actual money and is a bit of effort, but you get to learn a new language out of it, so it's not all bad) and if you do use google translate, when you get the foreign language equivalent put that through the translator again, often the english is a bit disjointed so you might need to make some editions.

Ooh! I love The Breakfast Club <3 I watched it once, a while ago, and I so yea pls make a Roleplay out of it!
And that plot is one Roleplay I would so not forget about it c:
But idk if I'm really friend like and genuine to you .-. Like I've never done a Roleplay with you and I dunno what you consider friend like so.
