Night kept laughing "Stop..stop I can't breath" she panted, as Stephano nosed his way inbetween them. "Mine" the little colt said going under Nightingale's belly. "Looks like you got some competition" Nightingale smirked poking Inferno's side with her tail. The shire lipped his forelock, blowing the flies away with her nose

Inferno chuckled and let her breathe. Grinning at the colt he laughed and lied his head possessively over Night's neck. Inferno moved his head and lipped at her ear. "Oh there is no competition sweet." He nickered with a.smirk and nosed her neck. He wohld most certainly let this colt stay with them. But.once he hit that certain age he would have to go and that would not be changed.

Lucky nodded, looking up at Cloud. He trotted a bit closer, although not too close, as he assumed they would not like it if he stuck his nose in the middle of them. Feeling as if he was a part of a herd, he felt safer and more secure. He could also help protect them with Cloud if needed. He was going to earlier that day, before Coal went away. He flickered his ear, then put his head lower to rest.

She found herself feeling a surprising mixture of grogginess and peacefulness after the long day and walked into Inferno's cave, trotting to one of the walls and laying down comfortably pressed up against its smooth face. She laid her head on the ground and her blue eyes fluttered shut. She didn't think she would be too eager for sleep, but as soon as her eyelids were closed, she was out. Dreaming of a time when she and Inferno would be proud parents.

She felt immediately at peace with Cloud's gentle neck craned over her back. She snorted gently with a sense of tiredness. Her eyelids felt heavy and it felt like a sort of relief to be finally closing them after the long day. She glanced over at Lucky and smiled at him, wanting to make him feel welcome into their little herd and shut her eyes to get some sleep.

cloud He finally closed his tired eyes and driffted into a light sleep. He would not let himself fall completly asleep becuase he need to be ready for dsnger, if it came near them. (wb srry)

The dark mare wandered around,her thick head and neck bobbing with each smooth step she took.Her search for food had turned up nothing,though she was not discouraged.This came with the land,and she chose to stay here.The ruggedness and fight for survival had drawn her to this barren land,reminded the brutal mare of herself in many ways.

cloud He opened his eyes a few hours later but he did not getup, becasue he did not want to wake lucky and feather up. He spotted a horse in the distance (bloody mary) he could not tell if the horse was a mare or a stallion so he pricked his ears and watched the horse

Her regal head lifted high as the dark mare sensed something near.Not something someone.Bloody snorted,the sound like a small clap of thunder,just as a warning.Confrontation was never one of her wants in life,but she would not avoid it.She wasn't afraid,but just knew what was best for herself.Dark eyes scanning the surrounding area,Bloody's stone hard gaze finally settled on a palomino figure in the near distance.She continued to watch for any movement that the unknown horse would make.

Cloud He heard the snort and slowly stood up. He nickered in a friendly way to show the horse he was no threat. He still could not tell if the dark horse was a stallion or a mare. She he pricked his ears for a reply. He looked down at feather and a lucky, than back at the new horse.

Head turning,she blatantly ignored his friendly call.This mare was not of the friendly type,and would not choose to be.Curiosity gnawed at her belly,but one last look showed the two other possible mares and Bloody did not want to take the chance of a snaking.Bloody Mary snorted once again,pawing a the snow at her feet in hopes that a stray slither of grass would miraculously appear out of nowhere.
