Axel closed his eyes, listening to Red and the river flow. "Well I wish you luck on your search." he said softly. He opened his eyes when she had asking him a question. He replied with a shrug, "What about me?" he asked, his ear flicked again.

[mindless.]

"Thanks. Anything. Where you came from, why you decided to stay here." Red shrugged and watched him for an answer. For some reason she wanted to learn more. She never knew why a pack wolf was such. Not to mention he seemed trustworthy and had not just asked her to join and walked away like most.

The shewolf continued escavating her surroundings, nothing picking up. Evangeline continued wandering blindly along, not sure where she was going, even. Her silver fur seemed somewhat pale, and her eyes were drooping with exaustion. She kept her head high though, knowing she was on a pack's territory, so she stayed quiet as if it were an apocalypse or the undead.

Camo's ears were down on her head as her black tail was hooked around her rump. Taking in a deep sigh of air her autumn eyes looked up the sky and she guessed she might as well go fond something to do since she had messed up that. Rising up to all fours the black female slipped into the darkness of the woods her paws making little noise as made her way to what she hoped would turn out to be water her throat was dry and she wanted water rather badly.

Axel smiled and dipped his head in a little nod, "Ah," he murmured as he thought back, "I was born here, this is home." he replied as his smile widened, "my ancestors lived here too." he added as he studied his amber paws, his eyes shining with a sense of pride.

[mindless.]

"I have no idea why my ancestors chose the home they did. As of yet I have no real home." Red shrugged and envied the pride in his gaze. The female flicked her tail behind her in thought. Red wondered if there was something interesting they could do, flicking her ears around herself.

Axel smiled and rose up, stretching himself and letting out a loud yawn. He flexed his legs and flashed another smile at Red, "Have you ever tried hunting for fish?" he asked as he watched all the fish swim by. He gingerly licked his lips, his tail began to wag. He pricked his ears up as he awaited a reply.

Red allowed a smile to slowly appear on her face. Leaning over the water she focused for a few moments, shooting a paw out and feeling it hit a fish. The shiny body flew out of the water, laughing as it smacked into his chest fur. "Like that?" She asked with a tilt of her head.

Axel laughed as the fish flew into his chest. He picked it up off of the ground and placed it by her paws, "Sort of." he replied as he stepped into the freezing water. A shiver travelled up and down his spine as he did. He walked to a shallow area and stood very still, watching the water ripples. When he saw a fish, he quickly dipped his head into the water and caught it in between his jaws, "ths is mo' fun." he mumbled, still having the fish in his mouth.

Red chuckled and stepped into the shallow shore. "Actually," She grinned and tensed her legs. "This is more fun." The female smiled and launched herself, tackling Axel into the water. Red jumped off, standing at the shore with a playful bow and a challenging look. Not often could she actually have her guard down enough to do something like that. It made her feel better.
