This is a very nice thread. I love wolves myself, I truly do. They are beautiful, smart animals indeed, and I agree with everything stated here.
However.
One of the sentences in your second paragraph did not make sense to me. And that would be this one:

A beautiful, intelligent creature with sleek fur and gentle eyes. The real personality of a wolf.

Most of that sentence is very true. Beautiful. Intelligent. Sleek fur. Gentle eyes? That single word throws me off a bit. Wolves are wild animals, and all wild animals are cruel, vicious and merciless, whether we want to believe it or not. If we did encounter a wolf, it would attack and try to eat us. It's the sad truth. They are wild animals with hungry, cruel eyes, not gentle.

I do support this club and I do agree: Hunting for sport is very wrong. I do think that shooting in self-defense or defense for another creature {cattle, equine} is perfectly OK. I am vegetarian, so therefore I'm against hunting as well. My brother hunts, and he hates wolves be because they kill his elk. I understand his frustration, but I do not hate wolves. Not at all.

..... If we did encounter a wolf to would not just randomly attack and try to eat us... unless provoked or hungry. Hungry, crule eyes? This just dose not make sense.
And what exactly dose 'kill HIS elk' mean?
On a happy note... i do agree hunting for sport is wrong. And i'm a vegetarian too (sorry for being random)
