In other news, I do not believe there has ever been a literate Avengers RP. Ever, on this site. o.o There's one that has a 13 line minimum, but... At this rate, I'm going to start writing fanfic! And I promised myself I would never do that! *flail*

I would offer to do one with you Arty, but for the life of me I cannot come up with a plot, and I have a problem with playing cannon characters. I feel like I would mess up. T-T So as much as I love the Avengers, I probably won't be joining an Avengers role play.

Thanks Mousie, lemme know if you change your mind. :3 I have, um, two plots (one is character focused, somewhat, and slightly less... flashy? than most, and does not involve Thor or Loki, while the other is very Asgard centred and reeeally flashy).

I know what you mean about canon characters. (That's why I don't want to write fanfic... I feel sure I'd get it wrong somehow - mess up on some of the myriad of details that compose Marvel canon). There are some characters I just couldn't do well, like Hawkeye or Captain America. So I'm not sure if I should even try.

Do any of you ever feel like that? Absolutely in love with a movie, book, or TV show, but terrified of writing homages to it, because it could never be even comparable to the original?

it's why I don't do it. I'll use the plot idea but not the characters.

The ones I would even consider role paying are Iron Man, Hulk, and Hawkeye. The only reason for the last is becuase I am into archery. XD I could try Stark, but he's just so darn witty I don't think I could pull it off, and Dr. Banner baffles me somewhat. However I think I could handle the Hulk smashing part. XD And just sayin, I think Asian would be a perfect Stark and Arty would make a good Dr. Banner. Just sayin'. =D *Crawls back into corner*

I agree with glitter whole heartedly. I kind of wanna stalk it, just to read the conversations.
