"We're all just stories in the end."

Kass' rouge right ear returned to focusing on the paint stallion before her when no more sounds behind her could be heard. Her head tilted to her left a bit as he said his name, Badger. Presumably, he was named after his black and white markings. She'd never met a badger, the animal, but had heard of them. In the corner of the bayou the old man lived in, stories spread like wildlife. Whether or not those stories were true was an entirely different matter.
She blinked, long and slow, as he asked her name in return. "Kassandra." She told him, her voice regaining a bit of its normal gruffness as he took a step back. Her ears flicked back to listen behind her and she huffed, lips flapping and eyes narrowing. Stallions, so full of nervous energy and also full of complex mysteries. But, she supposed Badger was right to be wary. The two behind her could potentially be hostile, as most things in the swamps were. However, they hadn't done much yet, so no assumptions could be made.

Badger bowed his head some after hearing the mare's name. "It is a pleasure to meet you Kassandra." he said before raising his eyes to look at her. His tail flicked some as he shifted his weight, releasing one of his hooves from holding him and letting it relax. His eyes would drift over to the stallions that were behind her then shifted back to look at her.
"So what brings you to these parts of the bayou?" he questioned, wondering what did bring her to where he was laying himself under the tree that now stood behind him. His ears twitched as he managed to catch the murmuring of the stallions that had approached them then stooped; he wasn't really interested in what they had to say, he was more interested in what Kassandra was going to say instead.

Daryan glanced back, seeing Altair's mane caught in a branch,
He chuckled and trotted over to her, trying to release her without pulling.

"Well, Allie,"
He said with an amused smile.
"You can consider me a friend."
He said,
lifting his head after untangling her mane,
and giving her a happy smile.

He said, trotting on, pushing through mor foilage-

He soon passed through all of it to a lovely patch of swamp flowers,
"This it?"
He said smiling at her.

Allie nodded and smiled. She just couldnt help but smile,the flowers were a bright pink and very beautiful. "Do you like it?"she asked him now staring into his copper eyes with her purple eyes.

He said, looking around with a smile.

"Its funny how pretty places like these pop up in not so pretty places like the Swamp."
He laughed a bit,

"We should just be glad places like these exsist" she said walking over to a flower bush and smelling it. She leaned her head down and smelt the tiny pink flower. Her white mane coverd the flowers so it made it look like a bush with snow on it. When she smelled it a chill ran down her back and she flicked her tail.
