Reedfoot put his head on his paws, and he fell asleep.

Stonepaw watched Goldenpaw run off before looking for Littlereed.

Cavepaw bounded over at Bloodfang, flicking his tail goodbye to Silverpaw.

Shiningcrystal and Frozenstone laid together near the fresh-kill pile.

"And morning to you too Lilyheart" he replied, "How are you?"

Fawnspots looked at Reedfoot and purred affectionately before whincing. "Now?!" she hissed to herself.

Sparkmoon padded over to Littlereed, "You ok, Littlereed?" he asked her gently.

Littlereed looked at her mate, and she nodded. "I'm fine."

Reedfoot had been sleeping lightly, and he opened his eyes and looked at Fawnspots. "Are you ok?"

"Ok, that is good" he replied to her, "Shall we go hunting?"

"Reedfoot, im kitting" she hissed between clenched teeth. Struggling out of the nest she moved to a clear spot.

Littlereed flicked her tail, and she nodded. "Sure. I'm sure my apprentice can wait for me to get back, all we were going to do was go look at the territory."

"What?!" Reedfoot meowed.

Sparkmoon nodded, "Ok, lets go, but stick close to me, we don't know what killed Mosspetal yet"

"Im only having one kit, its not obvious to see" she replied quickly before letting out another hiss of pain

Littlereed nodded. "Alright, and she headed towards the entrance of camp.

Reedfoot blinked his eyes, then he looked over at his son. "Smokeywater!"

Sparkmoon lead his mate out onto the territory, "We will avoid the western borders as they are where the attacks were"

Smokeywater jumped up, "Fawnspots" he murmured looking at his mother. "Ok, she will be fine" he said before nudging over a stick to her and then sitting down beside her.

Littlereed nodded. "Ok."

Reedfoot nodded, and he watched Fawnspots.
