"Huh? Uh...nothing..." he said, glancing away. His ears flattened and he glanced around rather nervously. Showing he'd rather not talk about it. He hoped she'd drop the subject. "So, what do we do exactly?"

Shark nodded to Ana and dashed over to the sled. He passed Jasper who was already waiting and he padded to the head of the line. This time he gave a louder long bark, informing the team to get into poistions quickly. Sharkfang shook his redish golden fur, ready for another pratice run.

Tundra looked over at Shark. "Come on. It's time for the action!" she said dashing to the back. She didn't know if she really liked the back, but she still did it. She scooted over, allowing a spot for Dante.

Teddy ran to his spot in line. He was wide awake by now. He panted, waiting to be hooked up for the practice run. His tail wagged a bit, but his eyes didn't show any happiness. His eyes only looked forward, aware of the female that he was next to.

Dante smiled and rushed into place beside her. He glanced at her, before getting into full position so she could be harnassed.

SHark flicked his ears as he scented a dog, but this dog wasn't on the team. He turned around and narrowed his eyes at Dante. He swiftly padded back with his tail high. "Why would you be here, Dante." Sharkfang asked the dog, and wondering if he was planning on joining the team.

Jasper rolled her eyes and looked at Teddy. "What is with you?" He snickered, having fun teasing him. She swished her tail in the air, and wondered why Teddy was so stiff around females. Its not like females would hurt him or anything like that. Well, not for a good reason, she added.

"Tundra said I could be a rudder, just for today\." he said , his hackles raising slightly.

Luna woke up and walked to the barn entrance. She glanced at the dogs getting ready and she looked at Dante and smiled. Wow. I wish i could be with them today. she thought. She stood up and turned around and walked back into the corner and curled up. Why am I so tired. she thought. She rested her head against her paws and looked at the barn wall.

Shark was close to growling at Dante, but he reframed from it, knowing it wouldn't help things. "Tundra is not the one how makes decisions." He informed him, "We must see if our team musher will accept you." He said and glismped over at the house. He spotted Ana at the door. "Follow me." He ordered Dante with a flick of his tail. If Dante couldn't listen to him, then Shark would make sure he was not accepted. Shark didn't want just anyone on the team, although since they did need another swing dog he was willing to give him a chance.
