Arizona pounced here and there as the shining sun beat down on her orange coat. It was a beautiful and sunny day, perfect for playing. She was watching over a pair of twin pups while their mother was on the hunt. A flashy blue butterfly caught the corner of her soft brown eye. She spun around and proceeded to attack the flying creature. The little pups decided to follow suit and the trio continuted to chase the poor butterfly.
Hey, are those storm clouds up ahead? Arizona thought as she gazed up at the sky. "Hey pups, maybe we should go back to the dens. I think a storm is approaching." Yes, there is definitely a storm coming, I can feel it in my bones. The air is moist and the sky is grey. Suddenly, the first snoflake landed on the tip of Ari's wet, black nose. The snow fell faster and faster as the whiteness took away Arizona's sight. Woah, woah, woah! The snow is coming faster than I thought. Then, a giant hunk of hail hit her left shoulder and Arizona let out a yelp of pain. The hail starting to rain down harder on her and the two helpless pups. She ran to the nearest tree with great struggle and the pups managed to find her. Arizona laid down in the stinging cold snow and the two little pups huddled next to her side. She wrapped her tail around both puppies and cringed as hail hit her body through the branches of the trees.

Feahon blinked a couple times, the snow falling thicker it conpromised her vision. "Întuneric?" her voice held a note of relief. But the panic soon came over her agian "Oh, yes I will be heading right back. I was a little confused" She dipped her head in embaressment and stood up. She sniffed the air becoming more focused she picked up a steady trot truging though the snow. She brushed pass the male as she followed his freashy made path back to the dens "thank you" she called back picking up her pace.
Tyrant was stuggling to make it thought the masses of snow coving the forest floor by this point. He was a smaller male, well smaller for any full growen wolf really. This never really stopped him from doing anything but his shorter legs requided more effort to pull though the snow. A loud crack of a tree falling made him stop. it sounded furthing in the distance but he moved more carfully. Glancing up at the trees every once and a while. Large pieces of hail begain to fall agian, pelting his body "I hate winter" he growled under his breath. A gust of wind brought the close scent of another wolf to his nose, <who is out in this weather?> he thought changing his course to follow the new scent. He seen the form of a wolf laying in the distance (Dream) and rushed to her side, "get up! we have to get back to the dens" he barked nugging her with his nose.

Nvyohi shook off his long, rustled pelt and looked behind him to see Deltess behind him, standing in the snow. Are you alright sir?' "I'm fine. Thanks Vala." He turned towards the direction he thought the dens were, and continued to press onward. In the back of his mind he knew that some of the wolves were still trapped in the dens, one of which was Sophronia. He was sure that she had kept herself and the others in the den safe. He let out a long sigh and winced as another hailstone pierced his pelt, grazing the side of his face just next to his left eye. The warm blood seeped down his fact, and landed on the white blanket of snow, vanishing as soon as it touched the soft fallen flakes. "We can't be out here much longer. We need to find out way to shelter." Nvyohi said in a sharp tone towards the others, attempting to whiff the air to find a trace of other pack members. He caught nothing in the strong wind and snowfall, and pressed onwards.
Kiviaka lay flat in the floor of the den, feeling defeated by the hail. Every time she attempted to inch closer to the mouth of the cave, she was driven back to the safety of the back wall. She listened as the hailstones thundered above and outside the den, throwing panic into the other wolves around her. She saw Chase attempting to brave the storm, and raised an eyebrow as he ordered the lot of wolves to stay down and keep to the back of the cave. Kivi was a very independent wolf, and usually liked to take charge and not listen to orders besides those of the Alphas. Sighing, her catlike eyes followed him until he laid down among the group. She turned to the wolves and began to speak. "Nvyohi's still out there with the hunting party. I think we should take roll of who all we know is safe." She glanced around the den and looked around her. There were quite a few wolves missing.

Vala nodded at her leader and watched him as he continued to walk. Sighing and pressing forward, Vala knew that they wouldn't survive if they continued to walk in the storm. Vala didn't know if she would be able to take much more of the hail storm, she was already feeling weak. As she continued looking forward, she eventually lost sight of Nvyohi. Barely she could hear someone's voice through the vicious storm, We can't be out here much longer. We need to find out way to shelter.
Vala continued to push through the storm and tried to see any sign of her leader Nvy. "Sir! Are you out there! I've lost sight of you!" Vala wasn't sure if he would be able to hear her, but she tried to shout over the storm anyway. Suddenly Vala felt a sharp pain in the back of her leg. An ice shard had just come down on her back paw. Vala knew that there would be no possible way that she would survive if she stopped to check her wound, so she pressed forward hoping to find shelter, and her alpha.

As the black pelted wolf stood in the thick blanket of grass, easily seen through the low clouds, Întuneric very gently took ahold of the scruff of her neck and softly tugged before letting go, as his tail sliced through the foggy air. He nodded slowly and turned to follow her for a moment but stopped as she looked around. "Be careful." He said to the young femme as he continued on his search for others. His large paws placed bigger prints in the snow than the small creatures had; such as the hare, or the squirrel. In fact, their weight was hardly enough to make a hole.
Dreamcatcher lay there; her thoughts becoming distant as the weather got to her. Her pelt shook as she wiggled slightly to move the light blanket off snow off her pearl white body, as she couldn't help but shiver slightly. At least she still had her thick coat; or else she wouldn't have made it this far. As her ears slowly perked up, she opened her eyes to see a blur of a wolf's body bounding towards her. As the hail smacked down upon her head and back, Dream ignored the slight urge to wince. She looked up to see Tyrant and paused before slowly nodding her head, as she pushed herself off the ground and slowly got up. "I don't know where they are..." She replied in a quiet bark, as she looked off to the side; not able to pick up any scents, except for this male's.

Feahon smiled back at him "I will be" she said before, leaping into a smooth run thought the snow. The black of her pelt stood out greatly in the white of the bilizzard. she ran followed the scents of her pack growing stronger, happiness rose in Fea as she felt safer seeeing the dens in the distance. The she-wolf praticaly flew into one of the dens, she smiled quickly at the other wolves in there then laid down to like the ice from her pelt and paws. All the while she thought and worried about the strong male wolf that saved her, Întuneric.
Tyrant stood close to Dream, sharing his body heat. she looked very weak and cold. "This way, try and pick up the scent when the wind blows" he barked. His own noise was desperatly sniffing straining for any other scent. He couldn't pick anything up. Tyrant pushed away the sense of dread and looked over at the female "it will be ok" he said aloud trying to reinsure her and himself too. He tossed his head back a let out a loud howl, asking for help that her prayed would come soon.

Fang rasied her head and perked her ears as she heard a faint howl in the distance. Her gaze shifted back to the river then she slowly pushed back to her paws and gave an answering howl as loud as she could manage. She sighed quietly as she lowered her head again and gazed up and down the river. I made it here at least but which way to the lake? She flinched slightly as more hail pelted her back but pushed onward along the river bank.
Fang's gaze shifted again as she stopped along the river bank again. Dang it, I'm even more lost now! She dug her paws into the snow, though by now they were so numb she could hardly feel them, and lifted her head to howl again. Then she sat down and peered out across the river again as she perked her ears to listen for an answering howl.

Sophronia looked about, eyes blinded by the snow and hail. She howled once more, hoping that her voice would be heard by the others, and slowly came to the realization that she had nothing. Nvy and the others were out, and she'd left the cave in hopes of finding them safely. She stood slowly, ignoring the pain of the hail as it bore down on her fur as she slowly padded in what she thought was the general direction of the cave. Yet she, of course, had no idea whether or not she was simply moving further away.
She had been walking for what seemed like for hours, caused solely due to the wind and hail against her. Sophronia looked about once more, howling in a weak voice. Looking about she caught a very faint scent of a wolf and she followed it as best she could. Hardly able to because of the snow and hail. The scent was lost after a short series of pawsteps and she sat down for a moment, her ears down against her head. Regaining minor energy once more she continued to pad on, a mere faint shadow in the wind blown hail and snow.

Khvarna yelped as a massive branch from the tree above her broke and crashed into the ground next to her. She ran out into the open, despite the hail and snow going on out there. The little shelter the tree had provided her now seemed the best thing ever, however she was too afraid of going back there. She crouched down in the snow and shivered, just managing to brace herself before a large block of hail hit her body. She shuddered and felt like crying out like a pup. Wondering if she would die here, she lifted up a shaky leg and put it in front of her in the direction she thought the closest dens were.
Desert felt if he was a desert, he would be truly lost in this cold snow and hail. He felt completely and utterly useless, knowing that there were wolves stuck out there in the snow. He took a deep breath, and peered outside to try to recognize the little surroundigs he could see. Wondering if he was being smart or stupid, he stepped outside. He found himself not moving. Thinking of a way to attract wolves to the few dens where he was, he sucked in as much air as possible without swallowing snow and howled, not sure if it would have been loud enough for any wolf to hear.
