The universe is experiencing an era of peace. Planets are prospering and major disputes are rare. The Republic has been able to maintain order for many years without any problems, but something is threatening to change that.
During a session of the Senate on Coruscant, several assassins infiltrated the building and attempted to snipe several Senators and escape. They succeeded in killing two and injuring others. They might have escaped if it weren't for the Jedi who arrived just in time to catch them. The assassins were interrogated and it was revealed that they worked for a radical group called the Red Vixus. Red Vixus's goal was to bring down the Republic and "liberate" the planets under its control.
They couldn't get any more information out of the assassins and shortly thereafter the assassins were locked away. The Senate asked the Jedi to try and find the Red Vixus's base and put an end to the threat they posed to the Republic. The Jedi agreed to find them and talk to them but did not promise to wipe them out as the Senate wished.
The Jedi set to work finding out which planet the Red Vixus's base was on. Because the assassin that seemed to be in charge of the group had been Umbaran and a Vixus was an animal native to Umbara, they decided to start their search on Umbara. A task force of Jedi was assembled. The Senate also provided a few bounty hunters to help with the task much to the Jedi's annoyance.
The task force arrived at Umbara and were greeted by a less than pleasant surprise. The Red Vixus somehow had known that they would be coming and sent fighters to deal with them. The ship was badly damaged and crashed on the surface of Umbara.
Now the Jedi and their bounty hunter friends are being hunted through Umbara's shadowy forests. The hunters have become the prey. Out of communication with the Republic, they have only one choice. Find another way off the planet or fall the the Red Vixus and be destroyed.

|: Obviously follow Tess's rules. No Mary-Sues, Powerplaying, God-modding, Etc.
|: Drama and action is highly encouraged. There's a lot you can do with a group of Jedi and bounty hunters who don't like each other forced to work together to escape from an inhospitable planet and a bunch of radicals who want to kill them.
|: If you have any ideas for the RP that will make it better and more fun, please don't hesitate to PM me. I'm very open to suggestions. Anything to keep things interesting. ;]
|: Mostly what I ask of the RP is to know your character's limits and don't make them win every battle. Padawans aren't going to be able to beat Jedi Masters and injured characters with broken legs and huge bleeding wounds are not going to be useful in a fight.
|: I would prefer semi-literate posts. If I feel that you can't put out posts of good quality I have the right to not accept your form.
|: If you would like you may make a member of the Red Vixus. They don't have to be Umbaran if you don't want.
|: It is highly recommended that you watch the episodes from Season 4 of The Clones Wars which involve Umbara (Darkness of Umbara, Carnage of Krell, Plan of Dissent, and The General are the names I think. Clips are available on the Star Wars website.)
