as a child, everyone wanted to be someone great. a firefighter, a police officer, maybe an astronaut.
of course, there was always those kids who were set becoming a prince or a princess. you could only
imagine what it would be like to live in a luxurious palace with the prettiest of dresses or the
coolest toys. if you extra creative, you might've dreamt of being a fairy princess who could have
world peace in a snap of her fingers. fairytales aren't uncommon to hear when you're little. there isn't
one person who hasn't heard of how cinderella was swept off her feet by the handsome prince charming,
while the adventures of wendy and peter pan taught us how fun it could be to stay young.
reality is basically the wicked witch of childhood. the progression through middle school and high school
can ruin the wildest of dreams. teenagers come to realize that happy endings don't exist. you won't be
showered in riches and your 'true love' is more likely to cheat on you than stay with you forever. most
importantly, everyone gets old and dies. that's the way it's always been. stories are preserved forever,
not human lives.
if given the chance to live in a fairytale world, would you take it? perfection isn't that much different
from becoming part of walt disney's finest works. this offer was given to multiple individuals that
attended rosemary prep, a boarding school that sat on the outskirts of north carolina. there were
those who accepted it, and those who didn't. the whole idea of living as your favorite princess is
surreal. the teenagers that didn't question the whole ordeal were the unlucky ones. this one of a kind
chance was not given to them by some fairy godmother. in fact, no one really knows who, or what
found it's way into the human world and scammed the poor kids. instead of cinderella, one became the
step-sister. the prince charming wanna-be ended up living as gaston. something has to be done about
this, because that force [ named 'ignotum' which is latin for unknown] is set to ruin the fairytale worlds.
if cinderella falls in love with the beast, her storyline would vanish into thin air, leaving everyone in
it without their memories or homes. the seperate story worlds were meshed together, in hopes of forcing
the other characters to interact with each other. if real, living humans were to live as disney characters,
their natural faults and misdoings would destroy everything.

plot synopisis; i feel like what i wrote was confusing, and i couldn't mention everything without it
sounding like total gibberish. basically, two years ago a cluster of teenagers from rosemary prep were
voluntarily turned into disney characters. unfortunately, they became the supposed 'villains' of the story
because they had the similar qualities. that doesn't mean they have to be the bad guys in the roleplay,
they just took the roles. now it's present time and the fairytales are vanishing out of the memories of
humans; more importantly, children. a select few still remember the stories and they're the next to be
shoved into the role of a character. all the tales have been mixed and mushed and stirred to the point
where aladdin could be chilling out in neverland. the villains have either adjusted to life or are still
looking for a way out. it's the teenagers job to restore the fairytale world, or they aren't returning back
home. cinderella must marry the prince, tarzan and jane have to return to the jungle. of course, you
can't really expect a group of teenagers to play by the book, can you? what if they wanted to stay young?
living in a castle with a handsome prince wouldn't be so bad either...

make sure to follow all of the rules already established for the site. If you have not read those rules,
please click the back button and go do that. i don't want any fighting, powerplaying, or rude behaviors
on this thread. be sure to keep everything pg-14 or so. this is a disney roleplay, so it shouldn't be that
gruesome or explicit.

✰ literacy counts
this is a literate roleplay. i expect at least two to three detailed paragraphs. good spelling and grammar
is also important. i'll be looking through your posts and whatever writing sample you send me. i don't
have a specific word count, but more than 400, at least. if i know you, i won't require a sample
or anything of that sort. if you've been in any of my previous roleplays, you're fine.

✰ character limitations
i really don't want to see any mary-sues or gary-sues. please make sure to follow the personality of
the role you choose. aladdin shouldn't be lazy and gaston shouldn't be a sweetheart. two characters
minimum, three if we don't have enough members. to keep genders even, it's required for you to
have one boy and one girl that you can keep active. i don't want to see ten posts with your girl and
two with your guy.

i'm not going to make you write out one ginormous form, if you don't want to. personally, i never get
them done. all i'm going to require are the basics and a minimum of two paragraphs covering their
history and personality. i hardly read through huge forms, so you're really making it easier on everyone
if you don't go to extended detail.

Eric Meredith Prince was born in Florida. To be exact, he was born in Tampa, Florida. Quickly, though, he was shuffled to Sanibel-Captiva Island in Lee County, a smaller community where his love of the marine life would flourish and grow. He is an Aquarius, born on the twenty-fourth of January, at three thirty-three AM. The meaning of the name Eric is ‘eternal ruler.’ His middle name, Meredith, which he finds rather girly, is a unisex name meaning ‘ocean.’ Finally, his surname is self-explanatory. Eric goes by a few aliases. He does go by Eric, but he prefers Ric or Ricky. Errie is another nickname someone came up with for him, but he doesn’t actually care. Prince and Princey are other names that people have devised for him. Eric finds his name to be unusual and/or stupid. It bores him, but he especially despises his middle name, Meredith. After all, it’s mostly used as a girls’ name these days, and he feels strangely effeminate knowing that he bears it. His birth certificate states that he is eighteen years old. Now, he hopes to finally change his name, removing the name Meredith and keeping his name as Eric Prince, simple as can be.

Eric is a tall boy. Standing around six foot six, anyone can see he’s a looker. He has a mop of inky black hair that resembles black nights over the open ocean, or perhaps the darkness of the seafloor. His build is muscular and has tall, muscular legs. His torso is not very different; years of surfing and working on boats has given him ropy muscles and broad shoulders. His skin is a golden California tan, despite his Florida heritage. Eric has a lean, muscular build, with a Greek nose that turns up at the end. It is a sort of combination of a Greek nose and a button nose, perhaps a reference to the modern day man and the old god of the sea, Poseidon. He has a narrow mouth and mostly dresses in T-shirts and jeans. His eyes are very unusual, though. They are a beautiful blue color, shallow like the water lapping at the sand of an inland lagoon. He has a light smattering of sun freckles across his nose. They seem to have lighter threads running through them that are reminiscent of water patterns. He has one tattoo, on his right shoulder, that says in swirling script, Eric the lad, a nickname his father gave him when he was younger.

But if you pay closer attention, you notice other things, too. Eric’s love of surfing, fishing, and the ocean at large budded when he was young. So he has adopted the personality of the seas. He ebbs and flows, but sometimes the water is choppy and stormy. Eric sort of has a short temper. He angers easily. At first, he may not show how infuriated he is, but he’ll find a way to get you back. He is constantly shifting and changing. Much like the ocean is home to trillions of species, Eric is prone to deep thinking and the forming of many philosophies. He has a unique perspective and outlook on life and the world. Eric is very intelligent and rarely chooses to reach his full potential, but when he does, people are surprised and astounded by just what that potential is. Rarely does Eric push himself hard to get good grades. He isn’t fully a romantic, but he does have an... interesting take on what love should be like, at least at this age. Eric tends to answer anything anyone says to him in a bored, flat tone, and usually with a sarcastic remark. Eric is very laid-back and relaxed a majority of the time. In general, he can be described in a single word: surface. When you meet him and he shows off his façade, this is his display personality. He feels as if he can’t break out of his shell (forgive the ocean metaphor) and become who he wants to be. Eric naturally gravitates towards the artsier sides of life. He crafts his own surfboards, draws pictures of the sea, and expresses himself artistically. Eric never feels more at peace besides the days when he can sprawl out across the warm sand, feel it between his toes, and bask lazily in the light of the sun.

Eric’s history is nothing too special. As previously stated, he is Florida born and raised. Tampa is his city of birth, but Sanibel-Captiva Island is his home. At a young age, he was drawn to the ocean. Every morning, he’d make the trek from his house to Blind Pass and sit on the shore, ducking around and collecting shells. He formed a small collection that he still keeps in a shoebox somewhere around his current living space. He was fascinated by the way a starfish would suck on your skin in a gentle way, stunned by the opaqueness of a shark’s fin when it caught the light of the sun that was sinking into the horizon. The ocean reflected his own difficulties and struggles, as his parents were rarely around to be with him and nudge him in the right direction. Eric grew, and as he did, so did his love for the marine world and its inhabitants. What better place for a lover of the sea to live than on Sanibel-Captiva Island, one of the most beautiful, diverse places for shell collecting and the observation of maritime wildlife? Eric adored the lazy, grazing sea cows, felt edgy around the sharks, was amused by crabs scuttling across the hot sand, their legs making tiny pores in the earth. The sea has always been a part of Eric’s life, and he was brought up by an old sailor that was a close friend of the family. The man, whose name was Captain Patrick (that was his full name), tried to lead Eric in the right direction as best he could. It mostly worked. Although Eric did stray and do drugs for a short while, he was quickly brought to his senses by Captain, who gave him a stern talking to and a hard, openhanded slap across the face. Eric’s love of the sea has shaped him into who he is today. He wouldn’t have it any other way.

She had waist length blonde hair, hazel eyes flecked with gray, and a wild child personality that brought Eric so close to that world of drugs and illegal contraband. She has been left behind, hopefully for good.

Cynthia Elle Tremaine was born close to the border of France and Germany, in a small town on the outskirts of Freiburg. It was called Blaubleu, since the settlers there were some of French descent and some of German. It appears on no maps. Her mother’s name was Katherine Michelle Tremaine (née Cenrillon), and her father’s name is Kennedy Michael Tremaine. Her father was a salesman, simple, a merchant. Her mother was a French beauty that had captivated Kennedy. Born in Dallas, Texas, and raised in France, Katherine Cendrillon was tall, blonde, and blue-eyed. So was her daughter. On the night that Cynthia was born, her mother died in the process of bringing new life into the world. Kennedy was forever changed. No longer was he the same spirited, animated man. He did, however, try to make his daughter as well-rounded and educated as could be. They didn’t travel. He moved back to California with her and they lived in Santa Monica. Their troubles began when, a week after the day Cynthia turned twelve, Kennedy was married to Lavinia Dianne “Lady” Whittering, a socialite with two daughters of her own—and a deep hatred of Cynthia. The first few years of Kennedy and Lavinia’s marriage was peaceful. They were compatible and on the outside, Lavinia seemed like a good role model for Cynthia (whom she nicknamed Cindie) and an excellent mother figure. Her daughters, however, were terrifying to Cynthia—who assumed with ease what she thought was an affectionate nickname. The oldest of the two, Drizella, was awful to Cindie. She teased her and called her names while their parents’ backs were turned. Anastasia never hesitated to join in on the “fun” but usually, her heart wasn’t in it as much. Anastasia was the youngest, Drizella the oldest, and Cindie the middle child. But then, the unthinkable happened. Kennedy Tremaine died. And that was where Cynthia’s troubles began. Her stepmother made her clean the entire house, firing their maid in a split second. Cynthia took on her extra responsibilities with no issue, enduring the test of time. She didn’t complain once. Now that she is eighteen, she’s left the Tremaine house for a small apartment near her school. She likes it much better.

Cynthia is, at first glance, nothing particularly special. Standing at a grand height of 5’10”, her legs make up for most of her height. She moves with the same flowing grace that her mother, Katherine, also moved with. Her hair is blonde. It is naturally straight and falls to her bust area while damp or wet, but when dry, it springs up to her collarbone. She is a B-cup. Her skin is fair, but it does tan to a nice lightly toasted color during the summertime. She has a pair of very unusual blue eyes. They seem to burst with imagination and kindness. But she will use her “baby stare” to get what she wants if she sees fit to. Her eyes are a light baby blue, with flecks of darker and lighter blue. A faint silver rims the edge of her iris. Her face is round and soft, with a button nose that has a light smattering of freckles dancing over it. Her build is of a slender one. She definitely has curves. Cynthia has an hourglass figure, with unusually small feet. Her fingers are long and spidery, while her torso is a bit short. She has somewhat thin lips and soft, silky hair. Cynthia’s style is rather simple. She mostly wears pale colors, blue, white, or gray preferably, and doesn’t like high heels very much. She likes sneakers and the comfortable fit they have around her feet. Rarely will this girl be seen sleeping in a night gown. Usually, she gives up and sleeps in shorts and a T-shirt or camisole.

Cynthia has a complex personality. She is, most importantly, enduring. She stood the test of time against her stepmother, Lavinia, and to her, that counts for some. She likes to think of herself as lucky, a symbol of her eternal optimism. She still keeps in contact with her stepsisters, Drizella and Anastasia, a clear sign of her kindness and warmheartedness towards those who have caused her misery in the past. “Turn the other cheek” seems to be her primary way of life. She thinks that if anyone truly knew what kind of household she came from, they would banish her or push her away. Cynthia has so much love in her heart, but the thought of letting it out and showing her cards scares her to death. Impressed upon Cindie’s mind at a young age was the need to have a high social status—or, more specifically, a husband in a high social status. Lavinia’s daughters were debutantes, to be married off to wealthy young men that were working in industries that payed them by the billion. Cynthia, however, supposes that she will die all alone, a cat lady and a spinster, surrounded by her seventy or more cats and hoarded waste. This fear is another thing that drives her to clean everything compulsively. She fears dying trapped in a mess she would create. On top of that, Cindie is also a girl with good grades and good exercise. Her figure and weight are not things she is worried about—grades are. She is a very goal-oriented person. For this reason, she likes games. Using her brain sometimes isn’t her favorite thing to do, but she knows it’s the healthy thing, and that’s what counts. She is a strong character. She stands up for what she believes in in a subtle way, but nothing huge or important. She has trouble with being too passive due to the fact that she was taught this: women should be seen and not heard. Cindie is a bright, intelligent girl, simply stuck in a glass house—or shoe, if she were an old lady—that she’s too afraid to break with stones.

Her birth parents are Katherine Michelle Tremaine and Kennedy Michael Tremaine. She doesn’t remember either well, but to be fair, her mother died giving birth to her only daughter, and her father was often away on business trips. She was shuffled to her stepmother Lavinia’s house. There, she resided with her two stepsisters, Drizella and Anastasia Tremaine. Some of her worst memories are scrubbing the floors until her hands bled, Lavinia brutally abusing her (both emotionally and physically) and her stepsisters’ cutting diatribes. Cynthia remembers the burning sensation of salty tears on her cheeks, and the cuts and scrapes on her body from doing the rough housework. She recalls the way she would spill boiling water on herself while cooking until she finally taught herself not to. But she also has good memories, of times before she practically became a slave to the socialite threesome formerly known as the Whitterings. She remembers cool grass beneath her feet, playing softball with friends from school, and the idleness of summer. She remembers the art classes Kennedy would sign her up for, where she would return home with green paint smeared on her cheeks. She recalls watching movies until the sun came up, her father asleep for most of them, a steady heartbeat beneath her ear. She recalls falling in love with one movie, Cinderella. And she recalls Lucifer. The Whitterings’ cat chose to follow Cynthia to her new home, and is a pain in the butt, if she says so herself. She also has a dog, Bruno, and a picture of her father and mother by her bedside.
