How large should my plants be before getting fish? ('ve only done live plants one other time, but that was in a 10 gallon. this tank is considerably larger.)
How many flowers are health, or rather, can too many flowers hurt the tank?

Also, i'd like some help. I am doing a tropical tank, but i want a couple semi-agressive fish and the rest community, but that wont work out, i think, because the one fish i want the most may eat guppies. i really want colorful fish like platys and mollies, but thee are also favorites of mine that my dad has owned (such as sharks, knives, and Angelfish). i also want gouramis. i'm not sure where to start deciding. can someone help me by telling me what can go with what, and what you think is better, community, semi-aggressive, or mix?
And how do i join?
