zai's not very comforting either. If I'm upset, she'll just look at me and she's that kind of daemon that will look at me while I'm sad and say, "Why are you crying? Do we have any nachos?" and not really care.

Yeah. I can see that. Zai would rather watch the new season of American Picker's (which her and I both hate) then help me if I fall. She'll come to my aid of course emotionally but not physically.

One of my headmates rolls his eyes and ignores me and the other will tell me to shut up and see things logically, but then my daemon yells at him and tells me that everything will be okay and stuff. My daemon comforts me in a 'nice' way. Its wierd that tough love seems to be a trend with daemons, but I guess I'm too up already to need any more tough-ness in my life. xD I really can't say why he does it the way he does, but it works so whatever.

Herm, well. I'm the most aggressive out of our pair. I'm less likely to do with comforting as I generally only get mad rather than sad or in a funk. And soothing words, no matter the source, rile me up more. XD So, it's not benefical for my daemon to be a 'soothing, maternal, etcetc.' thing. But by no standards is he the ... stereotypical snarky daemon. Because... anger and D:< rile me up more. XD He just... is? He's cautious, occasionally encouraging, and neutral, P: and boring. Like lint.

edit: Also, I think a lot of people start out with 'snarky' daemons, and the end up 'evolving' to tailor the humans needs because Frith started out like that too. P: Four years down the line and lookit the boring boogie now.
