His mind came back to him as he turned his attention from the sky outside to the man standing at the front of the classroom. He didn't really look that much older than Finn. He listened intently as the man explained what he wanted the students to do and without casting another gaze anywhere else, Finn turned his attention to his text book and flipped through the pages smoothly, only catching a glimpse of what was on each page before the next one flapped before his dark eyes.

She read the names of the girls kittens from the paper before turning her attention back to the front of the room and giving the teacher an apologetic smile. She glanced up at the chalkboard that hung dully behind the young woman and grabbed a pen, jotting down the equations and trying her best to figure them out. Kaylin had never been much in the ways of academic things, she tended to guess most of the time and was normally surprised to find that she did quite well. Her brown eyes occasionally flicked up to board.

Hanna's cellphone chimed softly in her pocket, bringing her back from her daydream. She skimmed over it, only catched some of the most important things. A Midnight Fight? But those aren't allowed! Finishing the text message, Hanna locked her phone, and shoved it into her pocket. Thoughts danced around in her head, good countering bad, bad countering good. Should I go? No! They aren't allowed! But, I do want to show them what I came do... She decided to leave the thought for later, after the school day was over. After all, she had untill midnight to decide.

A man strode into the room, introducing himself as Mr. Peters and an owner of the element air. He required them to bring out there textbooks, and Hanna did as asked. Mr. Peters also gave them a piece of paper, with several questions. He told them to begin, and Hanna breezed through most of the questions, stoping only to give her writing hand a shake. A smiled spread across her face, and she looked over her completed work. Hanna loved to answer questions of all kind, and was told several times she was extremly intelligent. However, like everyone, she has her flaws. She doubted herself to much, and to some extent was a teacher's pet, but Hanna still loved a little excitment. Standing up slowly, she set her pencil on her desk and walked over to Mr. Peters. Hanna handed him her paper, and turned away to return to her desk.

Dameon let out a long breath. Great.Revisting algebra. Jotting down the equations he began to work on them, pretty sure he was solving them. He didn't even know anymore. He was not too shabby though. Coming to the end of the list he nodded to himself. He ended with a descent lost of final answers. As he finished he sat back and let his eyes and mind wander.

Nikki did her best to pay attention. But it was English. Petting her mooth blonde hair she whisked out a 2H pencil and went along putting some finishing touches. Within five minutes more an angel lied on her side, holding a lantern seeing as they were pretty easy to draw. Using her finger she smudged the shading she had been working on. Nikki smiled softly   her finished project.

Bringing my head back, I noticed many of the students were hard at work. I soon let my eyes wander until they met the clock, Watching as the minute hand slowly passed the four. I then broke into an unexpected gaze, mouth hanging open as it seemed to catch my attention. The ticking of the clock made things seem so calm, eye lids dropping as I started to feel sleepy. Luckily, the grunt from a student sitting near by broke my gaze and snapped me back. Clearing my throat, I turned towards my paper settling softly on my desk, and grabbed the black inked pen before placing the tip above the lined paper, thinking of the answer to the next equation.

[Yes they will be predecided. Because i do not want something like Fire winning each time. So if it was Water against Fire, it is most likely that Water is going to win the first time. The second time the two face off, Fire might win because they know how the Water students work, they know how to evade their techniques.]

Ray heard the bell ring at 9:30. Standing he announced to the class"Hand you work in please for inspection and you have a couple minutes to get ready for Science. And may i just alert you now because this is a major problem. If we are in the Science Lab for experiments, do not use your powers under any circumstances. A boy did not understand this last year and we had to get a new roof for the Lab. Understood?Okay, not scram"He told the kids to vanish with a light voice and went to go get another coffee before heading to the Science Lab.

Maria listened to the bell and a warm smile came across her face"I dont know about you, but i hate maths and im glad its over. Language is next so you have a couple minutes to get ready"Picking up her own coffee it was cold. A light frown came upon her and her hand went under it. Soon, a soft glow emanated from her hand. After a few minutes she let out a pleased noise and started to drink.

Letting out a groan at all the work he just wanted to run away. He thought their would be more combat training than this. It annoyed him greatly and he started to draw. Ofcourse Brandon wasnt very good at drawing, he was the writing type. Despite this he didnt want to work. He wanted to be out side. In an excuse he rushed through his sheet and took it up to the teacher.

Excuse me but may i go get a drink, my heads a little fuzzyBrandon was liable to ru as soon as the teacher said yes. Ofcourse Mr Peters agreed and he attempted to shuffle out as though he was sick. Walking down the corridor he saw the slumped figure of another boy.

Since Brandon wasnt sick he walked right up to him. Guessing which element he tried to remember his name. And it was easy. He was so far the only Earth student.Rhett. Alex Rhett right?Your the Earth guyBrandon had heard rumours about students who strike out to other element people so he took a slight step back and the moist air started to form under his hand.

Something told him that this guy wasnt going to attack though and he calmed down a bit. And Splash's voice entered his headCalm down Brandon, your all tense. And bunch your hand up in a fist, i can feel that your going to attack even though you dont want to. I know of this guy, he's meant to be niceThe voice of his friend calmed him and Brandon actually sat down and leaned against the lockers by Alex.

Its fine, i can show you where your class is if you tell me your schedule and just use the excuse that you were feeling dizzyBrandon said quietly. Running his fingers through his hair he sighed and knew that if a teacher saw him, he was dead. The school rule was that you had to attend all subjects.

Again, Brandon realized that the school wouldnt care. They had to do what he wanted because if he went rampage of actual citizens, the whole world would know their secret. It made him smile but he realized he wasnt missing school alone. Maybe some other kids would come along.

Waiting patiently, Nikita smiled when the bell went off. She liked the break even if it was only two minutes. It let her stay calm and get a grip on what was coming next. Waiting patiently for her teacher t dismiss her, Nikita packed her stuff up ready for the next class.

As soon as they were allowed to go she picked up her kittens. They mewed softly and she put them at the back of her bag. Their faces popped out and they stayed there as if they knew what to do. Walking out the door she didnt need to look at the map of the school. She had been here ages and knew exactly where her locker was. With the other Earth ones. Striding over to them purposely she opened one up.

Old news paper pictures with the headlines 'Feral child in the city? greeted her face. The smile faded as she remembered those horrible times. When she was always running, only her and babe. And then there was Logan. The boy who had saved her. She remembered him bringing food and blankets.

Closing the locker door for a moment until she got her bearing she had to remind herself. Those articles were only there to reinforce and remind her that the world is a hateful place. It sounded cruel and stupid but it stopped Nikita from losing her sanity and going completely insane.

Opening it up again her eyes skimmed the headlines, a few words in the articles. Wild, feral, rabid, alone, abandoned, left to die, cruel, child welfare, capture, dog, girl, all the words made her want to slam the door and run away again. Her life had actually been good. Babe, Logan and herself.

And then the school found her. Remembering killing those people the guilt washed over her and she closed her eyes tight for a moment, unwilling to return to the world which she hated so much. And yet, Nikita opened her eyes again. This was because she knew there were good things. Logan, Babe, Batman, Cornelius. Life, Earth, Leaves, Seasons, they all made her smile and keep on fighting.

Alex looked up and got to his feet, weary of the random guy that just walked up to him. He smoothed back his hair and looked Brandon up and down before answering, "Yeah, I'm Alex and no I'm not going to attack you, why would I?" he said with a mischievous glint of knowing in his eye. "Thank You for offering to help me, I'll gladly accept." he said with a nod.

Before I could set my pen down, the bell began to ring telling the kids it was time to get out of class. I packed up my things before throwing the bag over my shoulder causing me to grunt. I was now aimlessly roaming the halls, unsure of where to go. I tried asking the others but nobody wanted to help. Whatever . . . was all that I could say. Feeling as if this roaming wasn't going to get me anywhere, I started to make my way towards two boys who seemed to be chatting with one another. "Um . . . Do you guys by any chance know where the Language class thing is located?" I asked, staring off to my side waiting for a response.
