"The" Rares List Guide - Do not ask about new UR's!

I'm rather curious to know if this list is ever going to be changed/updated because the demand for certain pets has changed significantly.

It has been updated several times over the past year, adding the URs, and the store pets. While demand changes over the course of the year, this list is a measure of overall demand and rarity, not current demand. That and those that update this list are very busy. I've heard of a new list being in the works for pets not quite in the advent range, and they've probably discussed, at least in passing, some changes to the list, but haven't had time to actually update it.

I have a question about the 'significant gap' between the Advent and the September list. Is there a specific pet that can bridge this gap, or is it an amount of Advents? Or is it something completely different?

A low advent like a grinner is worth two mid-advents, like a grey border collie.

The gap between the sept. and mains list is counted as high+low sept = mains list.

So, devil PPS + grinner = red x pps.

Because the Rainbow Mane has little demand [from what I've seen], but it's rather rare.

The whole list is a mixture of rarity and demand. And there is demand for the Rainbow Mane, I've seen people looking for them

Actually, there are some pets on there that are higher based more on rarity. For example, the zebra's, who clearly lack demand atm, are up that high almost purely on rarity. The moonswirl is up so high mostly because it's demand, its actually less rare then the zebra's are,.i believe. There's a few other examples, unickorn, ur mint horse, joker, ba, but im not going to write them all out xD

The new list will be added when its done. I.dont know iif thats this year or the next, progress is slow.

For the record, i want to add that the new list will make trading for advents easier. It will also make trading for the octobers easier, theyll become less worthless, we hope. The gaps between the addon list and the advent list wont be that big, since it really isnt that big lol.

Ok c: So would it be about a three-five tier gap between the top of the new list, and the bottom of the advent list? Also, would the pets on the new list be the commonest rares and in-demand pets? e.g August Lion, 2012 store pets, 2011 store pets etc...

You can find the add-ons list here. No pets that are not worth much will be added. The lion pps is not worth any 08/09's, regardless of what people pay for them, so it will not be added. The same goes for the shima long tail. Only pets that are actually worth these will be added.
