Crystal didnt hear Alex, she sawa small patch of roses and watched them with sorrow and love in her eyes. her favorite flowers were pink or white roses, even red ones, the small was breath taking. She breathed a heavy sigh, and she picked one getting stabbed, she pulled her finger back "Thats the problem about roses" she said as if she was talking to someone.

Alex looked around, "Crystal, please!?" he shouted, running through the gardens, heaving erratically.

Dimari stood the by masked figure in the window."Enjoying the view?Or are you uninterested in such events?"She asked a smile on her lips.She was trying to be friendly,he could be one of her future brother in-law for all she knew.She assumed from the stich of the clothing he had to be of a high class.She looked at him and out the window,still trying to find his class in her her head.

The prince nearly started at the sudden voice directed at him. He turned, with a polite smile lifting his lips, to face a girl around his own age. "My lady," he said, meeting her eyes and dipping into a quick bow. He was always the perfect gentleman when it came to girls, of all ages. He'd help old women cook in the villages, hold things for pregnant women, and occasionally play dolls with the younger girls. And that was all for peasants, not that the fact changed anything. He was equally polite to both parties.

"Yes, the view is quite.. enchanting." he said, searching for the right word. He turned back to the window and gazed downwards at the flickering lights of torches and bonfires. "It is not often that Elyadon and Avalon come together in such events. To be present at this masquerade is quite an honor. This event could possibly change history." he mused, the last part mainly to himself. This ball, held at the Avalon palace, could bring the eldest four of each court together, making the bonds between the two titles inseparable. With their rations, forces, and land combined, they would be invincible together. Always politics.. It was surprising how much one to learn by chatting with farmers and women in the markets.

"Elyssa Newton," she lied, looking around the room. She swore that there was something going wrong with the maids and that she'd get blamed for it. A conversation was alright, unless her job was on the line. She knew either way, she'd get fired, though it wasn't a bad thing for her, just rather her siblings. "Is there anything else you need, your majesty?" she asked, hoping he didn't need anything else.

Elyssa Newton, is it?" the prince asked, keeping the tease in his voice. "What a dull name for such a pretty girl. And a bright one at that." He gestured with the glass flute in his hand. "Seems like you've saved the food, but not yourself. Putting yourself before the prince's appetizers takes courage. How would you like to be a knight?" he asked, trying to hold in the smirk. Teasing young girls was too much, they were all so gullible. "Nah, I was just joking. So, Elyssa Newton, may I ask which court you are of? It is of my knowledge that the staffs of both courts were to be present tonight."

She rolled her eyes at the teases and sighed. She never really told people her name anyway, but it was only for safety reasons. She didn't want her family to get hurt in the process. She looked back up at him and said, "Elyadon."
Her mind began to wonder of all the work she could of finished if she hadn't gone up to the prince. ...Organized what needed to be finished, dust some tables we missed in the second hall.. After this conversation, she'd probably want to grab a snack and get back to work. She also wondered that, if she were fired, who would take her place? That wasn't a good thought either since she wasn't planning on losing this job. It was the best she could get next to working at a tavern, or something along those lines. She shivered at the thought.[/list]
