-_- I still have an hour and a half.

I have an odd question; how much time does it normally take you guys to make a literate post? Like ... It takes me anywhere from twenty minutes to an hour ... What about the rest of you?

I'd say from twenty minutes to a day or even more because I just get distracted so easily. But if you added up the time I actually spent writing it and not just the time I had it open but was really tumblring or something, I guess it would be about twenty minutes to an hour - I think.

Midnah let out an irritated yawn as she was forced from her sleep by the sound of the alarm clock seated on her bedside table, beside her hot pink-rimmed reading glasses and a copy of Charles Dicken's Great Expectations. Sitting up in her queen size bed, she threw the comforter that lay over her to the other side, throwing her legs over the side to stand up. Undressing quickly, remaining in only her undergarments, she reached for a white collared blouse and a black pencil skirt. Humming a song she had long since gotten stuck in her head, she put on the outfit, reaching for a comb after getting dressed. Running the teeth of the comb through her silky charcoal hair, she sighed, looking in the mirror. After deeming herself to be presentable, she put on a pair of lace stockings and a pair of high heeled boots. She was about out the door when she realized she didn't have her keys, rushing back inside to grab the important pieces of metal and locking the front door, starting over to her car. "This is going to be a long day..." she sighed as she climbed into the automobile and started off for work.

If my muse is up and running it usually takes me from 10-20 minutes - but if I'm really distracted and I don't know what I'm doing probably an hour. c:

Not an odd question at all ^^

Honestly, it depends on my mood, my muse, and if I have any idea of what the hell I'm doing. I kinda have to stall and think of the correct way to word things sometimes (I'll be like -types half a sentence- no -backspace and deletes whole half sentence. Sits for fifteen minutes, tapping fingers over keyboard lightly- what to write what to write...oh? Any pms? -checks and gets absorbed by twenty pms coming-) and then I get distracted so easily like I just mentioned in there xD
I don't know. It really depends on a lot of factors for me.
Then again, I don't consider myself literate, since I don't post like more than 1-3 paragraphs regularly. :P if I'm really good on muse and really in the mood to reply, I can bust out a few paragraphs though.

Okay this went around in circles I think. -.- oh well. You guys can handle it. :3

This very much. It takes me at least a half hour with good muse, but I typically take longer just trying to decide what to write. I try really hard to make my responses consistent with my character's personality, plus just trying to word it right... Takes a while.

Caci Edward Hollander
.|Where: Deep Forest|With:Fallen Passengers|Feeling: Alarmed and Injured|.
"Mayday, We've lost our right wing, we're going down!" came the panicked voice of the pilot over the loudspeaker as the plane engines began to groan loudly and the body of the huge jet rocked about in mid-air. I turned my head to look at Kaylin who was still sitting beside me, her dazzling blue eyes wide with terror as she looked over at me with shock. I reached out a shaky hand to take one of hers as our gazes locked, both frightened. I knew in my gut that this was the last time I would ever see her, the last time we would be together. I mouthed the words 'I love you' to her and a tear slid down her pale cheeks. The last thing I remembered was the deafening explosion as the plane collided with the earth and the screams of the thousands of innocent lives as we plummeted down, then it all went black.
Two Hours Later
Groggy and winded, struggled to open my eyes. It took me a few moments to remember what had happened, and a few moments more to relaize that I had survived. My first instinct was to sit up, but as I fought to, pain shot through my muscles making me wince and groan with agony. I managed to weakly lift my head to survey what was going on. Parts of metal were scattered everywhere, small flames surrounded the land and hundreds of bodies lay on the ground, motionless and limp. I noticed a large stain of scarlet blood that had sunken through my shirt, lifting a shaky hand to examine the damage, I pulled back the cotton fabric, gritting my teeth as it peeled away from my wound. I finally gave in to the pain and let the black material fall back onto my skin. For around twenty minutes I lay there, trying to force myself to sit up and falling back helplessly each time with a short moan of pain. I finally suceeded, leaning back on my unstable hands as I blinked my dark eyes. The pain of seeing it all around me was far worse than the pysical pain.

It wasn't until then that my attention was brought to the worst part. Laying in a mangled mess on the ground a few feet away from me was the body of a girl. Her clothes were coated in char, blood and dirt, her skin was scarred and torn and her hair was matted. The worst part was that her eyes were still open. Those beautiful blue eyes, staring unseeingly into the grey sky. I felt a tear slid down my own cheek as I saw her like this, so broken, so.. Gone. "K-kay-lin" I fought to say her name as my throat was dehydrated and scratchy. She didn't move. She was well and truly gone. One question ran through my mind, was it worth going on without her?

10-25 minutes for me when I'm up for writing/have already been planning in my head. Most of the time, though, I sit and stare at a blank text box for a good five minutes before I actually start typing anything.
