Rahab suddenly realized that the other Mystic was blind once she stated that she couldn't see Rahab and when Rahab saw her dull eyes. Then, the other Mystic told Rahab that her name was Anne and Rahab smiled. "Anne," she said, liking the way it sounded. "Beautiful name. My name is Rahab, but my parents called me Ray or Raya. If you want, you may call me by the nicknames my parents gave me, or you may simply call me Rahab. Either way, it doesn't matter."

✿✿✿"A name meaning Wide and Spacious, Just like the earth. I think your name is the beautiful one." Anne said quickly trying to cover up the compliment she had just received. "I'm just named after a silly flower, and at times I'm just as useful as one." she giggled slightly knowing that even a silly flower has it's uses at times. "I like the way that Raya sounds though." Anne said cheerfully.

Rahab gleamed at the compliment and held her head up with pride. "Oh you really think so? Well thank you. I agree my name is beautiful. After all, my parents thought that they should give me a beautiful name to go with my beauty," she responded proudly, flicking her tail with a bright look in her eyes. Then, she realized that she was being rude, but it was hard for her to keep herself from being egocentric because it came naturally. She felt embarrassed because of this, so she quickly tried to brush it off and act like it didn't happen. "Well, being named after a flower sounds nice as well. I mean I could understand, you're just as beautiful as a flower!" she exclaimed as a few snowflakes fell onto her nose.

✿✿✿Anne didn't seem to notice that Raya was being egocentric, she just tilted her head in wonder seeming to take Raya's words as the truth. And why wouldn't she? Anne couldn't see to compare Raya to her words praising her own appearance. "I wish I could see you, My own imagination might not do you justice." Anne said with a hint of sadness. "As for myself I have no idea what I look like now, I have not been able to see from when I was a young Myst. A grin creeped at the edge of her expression seeming to say that she was happy that another found her to be beautiful.

Rahab's smile became a slight frown when she heard about how long Anne had been blind. "Oh. Well. I'm sorry about that..." she murmured gently, trying not to show pity. Though, she kind of wondered how Anne became blind. Rahab tried to keep it to herself, but it suddenly spilled. "If you don't mind me asking, how did you get blind?"

✿✿✿"I don't mind you asking." Anne said still trying to tell for herself if she really did care or not. "It was a stupid and silly mistake on my part. I unknowingly shoved my face into a brush of what I thought was Cow Parsley, which I wanted to collect for my mother because it was her favorite flower. It was hogweed though." Anne said the last part quickly but with a firm tone in her voice. She then shifted on her paws somewhat uncomfortably. "My mother tried her best to washout the sap in a nearby river, but it was too late." The thought of the still freezing new spring water somewhat rumbled with her memory's to the pain, and then the darkness. Anne decided that it might be best for her to change the subject to what she wanted to know rather than what she already knew. "Would you tell me what the world looks like today? It's been a while since I've had anyone to describe it for me."

Arcene laid on the grass, her front paws folded neatly beneath her. She looked up at the sky, daydreaming about her childhood. She blinked a few times and shook her head slightly to clear her thoughts. Surely she wouldn't hang onto these memories forever? Arcene stood up, stretched her paws, and began walking casually through the long grass.
