Ravenfeather purred lightly as they worked but was cut off by Deathstar,"I need my aprentice now." he said and pushed through the hunysuckle entrence to the medican den.

Ravenfeather smiled at Deathstar,"Sorry, I needed some help with the poppy seed. You may have her back." he said, smileing at his father.

Deathstar purred then walked out,"Lets go to the training hollow." he said once Earthpaw was out of the medican den.

Stormheart smiled faintly, quickly swallowing the last bit of the mouse. "Sure, let's go," he said, standing up. He quickly buried the bones of the mouse before padding off in the direction of the entrance.

Meadowpaw's eyes lit up. "Great!" she purred, trotting around him in a circle again. "Are you going to teach me battle training now? Or are we going hunting? Oh this is so exciting!" Her eyes were as bright as stars.

Stormheart purred, his whiskers twitching in amusment. Before he exited the camp, he shot a glance at the fresh-kill pile...it was pretty full. "Let's go try some battle-training, for today," he said after a moment. He padded towards the training hollow, his tail in the air.

Meadowpaw's eyes lit up. "Excellent!" she exclaimed, her voice even more enthusiastic. "I'm so excited about this, you can't imagine!" She purred loudly, her eyes still bright.

Stormheart purred again. "I remember when I was an apprentice...I couldn't wait to start training either," he mewed, his pawsteps silent as he padded through the trees. When they had reached the training hollow, he stopped. "Okay, now I'm going to show you some techniques that will most certaintly help during battles," he said, his tail flicking.

Earthpaw nodded, saying a quick goodbye to Ravenfeather. "Okay," She said.

Meadowpaw nodded, taking in every word he said. Her eyes lit up. "All right! I'll try to copy them after, right?" She shifted her weight from one paw to another, her eyes on her mentor.

Stormheart purred. "Exactly," he said. He crouched down before running at her, pouncing and pinning her down. He made sure his claws were sheathed and that he didn't pin her down to roughly. He didn't want to hurt her. "Okay, now use your back paws to hit my underbelly to try and throw me off," he told her. "Make sure your claws are sheathed, though," he added quickly as an afterthought.

Meadowpaw gingerly batted at his underbelly, making sure her claws were sheathed. For a moment she lay there, then flipped him over, her eyes bright. "Sorry- you didn't tell me to do that... Is it all right?" She would hate disappointing him, but she liked putting her own ideas into training, even if she was inexperienced.

Stormheart purred, his eyes bright. "That was very good." He was thrilled that she had done so well! He stood, shaking the dirt from his pelt. "Okay, now, try to pin me down," he said, bounding over so he was facing her again. He crouched slightly, ready for her to pounce on him.
