[ Okay, I didn't mean to come off that way, I just love Slate to pieces already, and I have trouble figuring out how to make flaws, because when we look at other people we're not like necessarily looking for flaws, and I just never think about flaws...... but I'll change that ^^ do you have any suggestions on how to deal with that? 5 seconds later, I looked at another character I have (He also goes by the name Slate, but he's a vampire) and figured out how to make him unperfect. ^^

I think I'm going to do Slate's personality all over, because I need to make him darker, to suit the role of hunter. Not like evil, but not like he is hunting against his will, It's been too long since I've played a meaner character, it's an art to do personalities, lol.

Eliza Elliot, age eighteen. Where to begin? She was born on the breezy summer night of August twenty-second, nineteen ninety-four. Her parents decided on a rather beautiful, harmless-sounding name for her: Eliza Rose for her first name, Sabrina for her middle one. From the start, Eliza showed that her name told nothing about her fierce personality. For one thing, she refused to be called Eliza Rose on a daily basis- although her parents thought two names sounding charming for a girl, their daughter did not agree, and eventually Eliza got her way, as she always did. Only select few are allowed to call her Ellie, which, fortunately, does not include her parents. At the present moment, Eliza is eighteen- just old enough to actually be involved in the hunt for the Elementals legally, though she has participated many times before.

Well, if looks do matter, Eliza is well off. She's almost doll-like, with pale skin, a fragile figure that doesn't show her considerable strength. She has long black hair that nearly reaches her waist; when traveling she often pulls in back in a braid or messy ponytail. She has pretty features that look wonderful when she smiles, but when she's frowning, which is to say most of the time, she looks positively hawklike, even frightening. She's a gorgeous girl, with the 'hourglass' form typical of girls her age. She has a 'tomboy' look in her style of clothing, which consists mostly of army jackets, jeans, loose tank tops, and heavy black combat boots- which she always seems to be wearing. Her taste in fashion doesn't match her pretty, innocent features and thin, lithe form, but somehow she makes it work. She has a poisonously beautiful aura, like an evil witch, especially with the odd jewelry she wears. Though Eliza couldn't care less about fashion, she does have an odd liking for jewelry, and hoards it, magpie-like. At any given time, you can find her wearing heavy gold chains around her neck, innumerable rings an all her fingers, even dangling earrings with rubies in them. It's the one thing about her that really doesn't fit in with the rest.

The first word that comes out of one's mouth when they think of Eliza Rose: 'mean.' And, well, it's true. Eliza was always an unpleasant child, the classic bully of other children her age. The problem with her was the mixture of brains and brawn: while she was certainly not the strongest, she was the most intelligent, and it gave her a distinct advantage. Eliza is an expert with empathy. This is normally a good thing. An empathetic child makes for a kind young woman. But not with Eliza. She uses her talents preparing for the day in which she'll whisk a Vida Pendant off an Elemental's neck and fasten it around her own. She specializes in knowing what move the enemy will make next. In her youth, she dug countless holes for innocent children to fall into, crafted nets, commissioned cages from her father, who was a blacksmith as well as the settlement chief. She crouched in the bushes, and took notes, and improved her designs. For Eliza, there is a vindictive pleasure in doing these things. In everyday life, she sticks out like a sore thumb: an outcast, not willing to play peacefully, not willing to make friends. This is obviously what lead to her being such an unpleasant person. Though she didn't have friends, she did have followers- the thuggish seeking a leader, and the weak not wanting to be bullied themselves. This is how she became so bossy. See, when Eliza was five or six, she was the victim herself. She had no friends. But as she grew older, she began to think in terms of 'kill or be killed.' And for her, it was always going to be 'kill.' She became very commanding, in the way that she pretty much thought the world revolved around her. She became fiercely sarcastic, defensive, even spiteful. Eliza never knows when to give up- she just keeps pushing. It's like she's incapable of love- though that's not true, not at all. She loves power, and she loves freedom. But most of all, she wants to live eternally, which is partially why she wants a Vida Pendant so much. Apart from the incredible powers it would grant her, she simply doesn't want to die. She wants to be free of worry, of sickness, and of death.

Eliza's father had a large impact on her views. He hated the Elementals because they weren't helping those humans who were left. He hated them for pretending they didn't exist, because he strongly believed in them. He simply wanted to hunt and kill them, and would often leave on long expeditions to explore and try to guess where they might be. When he died, Eliza was sixteen, and she vowed to hunt down and kill every last Elemental as soon as her mother would allow her to- which is to say, when Eliza turned eighteen. She hunted them for a different reason, however: she was mainly seeking for immortality. She wanted a Vida Pendant. Her weapons of choice? Her mind and a few deadly objects- old fashioned ones, her specialty being daggers. She prefers no combat at all, however, because she wants to kill Elementals with traps. Her method of transportation is her beast, Enigma, who is a huge creature like a tiger, but even larger, with a profound hatred for humans. Eliza is the only one who can control her.

Alright, in this post, I'm simply going to clear up a few things about the roleplay.
1. Since Clove and Shine have left, there are now two spots open for Water and Earth. Anyone up to the thread's required level may take them (of course, anyone who doesn't already have a slot)
2. The nuclear explosions, happened a century ago. Therefore, even though it was a century, the Vida Pendants have a side effect of IMMORTALITY, which basically means your characters stay young without aging from the time the nuclear explosion happened.
3. Reeses, your form is fine and I will change the age from 18 to 19.
4. RedAteTheKitty, even though we had a pm discussion about your character, he still seems too perfect - please edit your form soon.
5. Everyone who already has a slot please finish your forms and it'll all be much, much simpler.
