@ Jelly
I get mine from walmart, it comes in a big bag and its fresh. I just put some tank water in a bowl and nuke it in the microwave until Its soft enough for them to tear and chew. I let it cool then put it on a veggie clip.

It took them a bit to figure out it was food but after they did, they went nuts.

Tomorrow I'm going to get a GSP! The thirty gallon has finally cycled for quite some time, so I'm excited to bring him home. I am getting it from Walmart, because oddly enough, no other fish stores around here carry them. o-o I have a question for you all. Walmart keeps there's in fresh water, and they are far too old for that. How do I switch mine over to the brackish water? (They aren't yet old enough for full marine.) Will it be a shock, or would it be fine? (I would do the drip method, but I am curious as to if this is too fast as well.)

One of my glass cats died... great. I hoped they would do well.. but I guess not. I suppose it's only a matter of time before I lose the other two, since they are supped to be kept in groups of three at the very least. On the upshot, my seven guppies look very healthy and happy. But they haven't been trying to mate.. which is odd for guppies. Not too bad though, baby overload isn't a good thing.

I'm sorry for your loss.
I do recall you saying you got all of these fish at once and put them in all at once? And that you realized you were overstocked.
Generally, you should try to only put a few in at a time. Even in cycled tanks, the ammonia levels and such will spike. More sensitive fish can be killed by this.

How many tanks do you have: 1
Type of fish that you have: HM (Halfmoon) Betta
Your fish's names: I'm still trying to think of one XD
How long have you had fish: Several weeks
I've owned several betta's in the past and my newest little guy came to me a couple weeks ago.

When I got him his stress lines were very visible and he had lost all of his color. A few hours after being in my 5 gal he had returned to almost to his brilliant blue self. He now has his color back and is still getting even more magnificent.
My first betta, a VT (veiltail) named Peach died of dropsy.

My second betta, a dragonscale HM named Count Manzeppi, died of age. (A pic of Manzeppi:

And here's a pic of my new guy on day 3. He needs a name!

A good friend of mine suggested a hawaiian sounding name that I really liked but I'm still thinking about it.
