GLU. YOU NEED TO MAKE THE ALEXANDER. That would be amazing. I anonymously stalked the story ... enjoy that creepy aroma. ._.

For forms, I try harder for out of club ones, and because I'm lazy, I just copy and paste with things that I add or take away.
Crystallize is a different story, though. I'm making an entirely new character, hopefully for the sill open avenger. :} but I'm computer less ... So it won't be done terribly soon. Maybe on Monday or Tuesday, I hope!

And the thing is, most of it is so repetitive. It's sad really. But I understand. What really gets me though, is that writing a form is nothing like writing a roleplay post, really, if you think about it.

@ asian did you ever make that HP roleplay? The one that was going to be set in WWII era?

Well, I'm not usually part of the ongoing discussions here, but seeing as all of you have been talking about writing too much and forms and paragraphs full of fluff and whatnot, I'll share too. c:
I started roleplaying on howrse and then I moved on to the official Warriors Message Board, which was linked right off the actually website. Then I found CS and I simply just logged on for the pets and items. To be honest, the forum scared me - so many people! Eventually though, I was coaxed onto the forums and I loved it - it brought up my old roleplaying cravings and I started joining wolf pack ones, warrior ones, teenage romance ones, etc. I made at least two Clan roleplays, multiple wolf pack ones, and started getting into realistic human ones and stuff.
    {{ okay this is really embarrassing but I had no idea what the word semi-literate even meant, so I actually had to search it up on google.../shh }}
    Anywaaaayyss.
I started writing more and more, and really, roleplaying did improve my literacy. And now, I guess, I'm high semi-literate, though I don't exactly know how I got here. I've had a lot of muses over the time I've spent on CS and I'm sure some of you have seen my roleplays. I started making literate roleplays, but within less than 10 pages most of them died out. It's so sad and tragic for me, really, because all the roleplays that I work the hardest on (the literate ones) die out and I'm left with no feeling of accomplishment or happiness at my roleplays. That's the main problem with the making roleplay's part - they die before they even start. I think one of my more successful roleplays was my Phoenix one, which maybe some of you might remember. I was so so proud of that one - the coding, my character, the plot, everything. But, as all things come to an end (some more quickly than others), it died.
Now, on to the forms issue. I've come to realize that forms sap so much of your muse that it leaves nothing for the actual roleplay, so I've taken to making forms that are short and simple, or letting others use their own, or just letting them post the minimum - only the required information. Histories, to me, are a big fat waste of time.
As for Mary/Gary-sues, I'm afraid I'm guilty of that. I'm ashamed sometimes to call myself a semi-lit/literate roleplayer simply because of the fact that I can't roleplay guys as well as girls, and as some of you on here passionately voice your love for flawed characters (which I like as well) and the fact that even though you are girl, you like to play guys more, or whatnot, it makes me feel really guilty because I love playing human girls yet I can never play female animals. I think I'm getting better with roleplaying guys but for me it's just harder, I guess.
I think I'm also guilty of putting fluff in my writing. In fact, recently, with one of my onexone's, we've decided to just limit the posts to one paragraph because it's so much simpler and easier, and already the roleplay is progressing much, much faster. I've come to understand the fact that what your character is wearing and what they had in their past and all this gibberish just to make your forms longer doesn't define your literacy. In fact, I feel that it just clogs up the roleplay, and I feel no need for that. In addition, all of the roleplayers muses have died (literally, and I know this because it's happened to me multiple times) and the hard work that went into the roleplay died too. I've compared the number of posts and views from literate roleplays to illiterate, and the number of posts and how fast the illiterate roleplays progress outnumber the literate by a large number. I've seen an illiterate with over a thousand posts, and then I've seen a beautiful, hard-worked for roleplay that only has about a hundred or less and it just shows the difference.
Sorry to bring up multiple topics again, but I wanted to post something - sorry!

edit: oookaay. Now seeing this confession in actual CS-post-version, I've realized it's way too long. ._.

          OMIGOD. IT WAS AMAZING.
          I LOVED IT.
          HE WAS MY FAVORITE.
RIGHT NEXT TO ALEXANDRA. They were both great!

I read the ending and was like "WHYYY! NOOOO!"

I have no idea who a food FC would be ... TO GOOGLE/TUMBLR WE GO!

Fate: I think we're all guilty of making up at least one perfect character at some point in our lives, but we all had to start somewhere, and now our characters are even better
