Are they not doing Kwanza pets this year? This is my first year on CS, and I know almost nothing about Kwanza, but the archives say the Kwanza pets are usually released in the days following Christmas, the 26th through the 1st.... Can anyone clarify this?

I hope everyone is enjoying the Advent Calendar so far!
We'd like to wish a happy Hanuakkah to our Jewish friends, and apologize for the lack of themed pets/items this year. Unfortunately things didn't get organized in time before I began the endless journey to Middle Earth and I ended up stuck in transit while Hanukkah began. It wasn't intentional, and we're planning on bringing it back next year, but this year we're going to leave it out rather than scramble to produce a delayed & rushed gift pack.

p.s. a few people have decided to send mail to the return address on the packages I shipped - please note that I am no longer living at that address!

If it was the same with Kwanza, she would have included Kwanza in that post. So we'll have to wait and see.

Im new here, so I wouldn't know about any stuff from last year. Do they do this for every holiday? Like Halloween, Easter ect.

They don't do an advent for every holiday. The advent is just for Christmas. They do different events for Halloween and Valentine's and such.

We have egg hunts and candy hunts for Easter and Halloween, and usually some kind of event in the summer. ;3

we have an advent calendar from Dec.1-25, and you can adopt something new every day!
Easter we have an egg hunt, and you can exchange your eggs for prizes(pets, ietems, etc.)
Halloween we go trick or treating to find candy toexchange for prizes
Valentines Day and the CS(chicken smoothie) anniversary, there is a special page where you can go adopt themed tlitters and items.
Every summer there is a different event. You can collect tokens and exchange them for things at different 'stores' on a big map and complete quests to get bigger prizes. This summer we had a beach event. the year before was medeival themed.

Those are the big ones we get every year, but sometimes you'll get a litter or item set to celebrate a small holiday.
