"Thanks Darkfire." Russetwing laughed through a mouthful of squirrel fur, he had gotten truly lucky. If he had fallen even a foot further, who knows what could have happened. So he carried the squirrel back to the place that they were burying prey to find that it had become more of a small fresh-kill pile. It was nice having prey so plentiful, with every cat well fed, not a single soul left hungry.

Darkfire nods and dives under water, looking for some fish. He sees a massive catfish and dives toward it, catching the wriggling fish in his jaws. He reaches land and kills it by stabbing where its heart would be. "This feed a whole patrol!" he yowls to them and hauls it to them.

Rainpelt flicked her ears when she herd Darkfire calling. She ran over to him."WOW!" She mewed happily, taking a few bites out of the cat fish.

"Nice catch Darkfire!" Russetwing mewed. "This will all all be enough to feed the entire clan!" He flicked his tail at the ever growing pile of prey.

Darkfire and taps her nose and shakes his head. "No eating while hunting, remember?" He says with a light chuckle. "Not to be mean or bossy!" He added rather quickly. "I'll get my prey back to camp. Anyone want to hunt any longer?" He asks, already dragging his prey away. "Nah! Let's get to camp guys. Grab your prey and let's go!" He says and grabs his catfish, squirrel, water vole, and raven.

Russetwing picked up his vole and the fat squirrel and began to walk back to camp. The squirrel seemed to weigh his head down, and the tail soon began to drag along the ground.

Rainpelt gave mrrow of a hiss. "I'm going to stay a little while." She mewed.

Darkfire eventually arrived at camp with his many pieces of prey. He drops them in the fresh kill pile and sighs in relief. "That was hurting my neck!" He hisses and pads away.

Rainpelt herd a bird pecking on a seed. She got up and leaped. It flew away but in time to catch it. She mewed happily.
