Russetwing

Immediately Russetwing picked up the strong scent of shrew. He quietly made his way towards the scent and soon came to the plump creature nibbling on some seeds. "Perfect." He thought as he dropped into his hunting crouch and stalked the small creature. Once he was close enough he leaped, landing squarely on top of the shrew. He then swiftly snapped it's spine and burried it carefully with the rest of the prey.

Sagepaw
Sagepaw stealthily stalked the mouse behind some long reeds, then she pounced biting the mouse on it's neck.

Darlfire heard the squeaking noise, but sat and watched the apprentice, wondering how good his hunting skills were. He watches closely, just incase he missing even the slightest thing that could ruin the kill.

Rainpelt flicked her ears when she herd something. She crouched down and peered through the bushes - a rabbit nibbling on a leaf. She smirked and jumped up, landing on it before it could make a sound. She purred and covered it with dirt before going to joing the rest of the hunting patrol. "Too rabbits in a day!" She mewed happily.

Blazestar nodded. "Its my plessure."He mewed, sitting down.

"Great job, Sagepaw!" He congratulates the apprentice. "Nice catches Rainpelt." He chuckles and scents the air, looking around for the scent of squirrel. He flashes up a tree and hooks his claws on the squirrels ear, then grabbing it by it's neck and snapping it bwtween his teeth.

Russetwing was not pleased with his last catch. He may have caught it well, but a shrew could only feed one cat. Then he heard a rustle above head, he looked up to see the fattest squirrel he had ever laid eyes on. There was no time to think, as quietly as he could, Russetwing scaled the tree and worked his way up to the limb the squirrel was perched on. "Nice and easy." He thought as he placed his paw on the unsturdy branch. The squirrel had seen him, but the other tree were too far to jump to, he had him trapped. As carefully as he could, Russetwing leaped forward, quickly grasping the plump squirrel in his claws before plummeting towards the ground. Luckily enough, Russetwing landed in a bush. He emerged from the bush covered with twigs and thorns, but carrying the squirrel in his jaws.

Rainpelt flicked her ears in a thanks. "Thanks!" She mewed happily. She looks over her shoulder to see something slpashing in the water. She licked her lips and crawled over to the stream. She saw a salmon. She put her paws in and tried to catch it.

While Russetwing was on his fall, Darkfire yowled, "Russetwing!" He and raced over, pulling thorns from his pelt. "Well, you got lucky." He sighs and tugs a branch from his pelt. "Looks like a windstorm got to you!" he mutters and sits down. "Nice catch by the way." He says, with a light chuckle. Darkfire then saw Rainpelt and pads over. "Watch. If you make sure your shadow isn't in the water, it won't see you. Just be ready for it to jump out or for you to catch it from the water." He instructs her, but just as a salmon leaps out, so does Darkfire. He catches the salmon in his mouth, mid-air. He grins and paddles back to shore, dropping the pink colored fish.

Rainpelt flicked her ears. "Thankyou." She mewed and did what he said. She jumped at the same time, catching a salmon. "I'm going to take the fish back. I'm comming back though." She mewed and got the fish tightly in her jaws and trotted back to camp. She dropped her fish then went back for her two rabbits. She put them down two and went back to the patrol.
