SteamPunk set down her package, and watched Fervent trot off. She was honestly worried about him; it didn't seem right to let him go off alone, but he was right- they needed to find water. Well, I'll wait for him then. I have to. So SteamPunk sat down, hiding under a brush. Her dark brown pelt would match with the dirt covering under the brush. She just hoped it was enough... She hoped her partner would be safe...

SteamPunk trailed her partner. Half guilty, she plodded along behind him, too far back to be heard or smelled, but close enough for her to track him. She knew that she could help him if he got hurt. Her jewel tingled in response, power growing by the minute as she braced herself to use it. SteamPunk could heal, and she would use this to benefit herself and others. Especially Fervent. She wasn't going to sit back as a lame duck would, waiting to be hurt. No... She would help. She had to.

She had stashed the package in a hollow log, and had disguised it very well. SteamPunk would return to it, no matter what happened.

Zak gave a half grin, "Oh, no, the way you passed out at the cornicopia was really tough." He said jokingly. He wasn't trying to be a jerkface anymore, at least, not to Cali. There was no need for it anymore, death was to be expected in the arena. And Zak expected his death to come in this arena, he had no hope.
