I'm sixteen years old, my birthday on the thirteenth of April, and as you can probably see, I'm female. Well, that's it, so nice to meet you!"

"I'm slightly short for a seventeen year old, looking younger than I am. My build is lean, with not much of a figure, and quite pale skin. I should be a good runner with a short upper body and long legs but I'm not competitive. My hair is, well I like to think of it, a dark nutmeg, and short and scruffy. I don't brush it much but it looks as if it is meant to be scruffy so all is good. I find short hair to be more practical than long hair. My face is boyish, I've been told, and my skin isn't completely clear. I have pale freckles scattered across my face and my eyes are grey. Not blue-grey, as many people's are, but a just grey."

Sammi is the kind of person you glance at when you pass, then never think of again. She isn't loud and outgoing except with close friends and occasionally with strangers, and though she is proud she doesn't boast. She isn't especially interesting to look at. This doesn't bother Sammi though, she stands in the background, almost invisible, only speaking to strangers when she has to and getting on with her life. She likes to be alone, and a lot of the time she is. Sammi is kind and sensitive, sometimes overly. She can never feel angry at anyone for a long time, even if she swears to ignore someone she will always end up smiling at them or speaking to them and laughing at their jokes. When she sees someone crying or very upset, she will also begin to cry, and she hates this.
An introvert is something that Sammi is, no doubt. Unless she has something important to say, she won't say it. If she has to be alone, she loves it. In social situations, she gets very awkward. When someone starts speaking about a subject she is passionate about she will be able to speak for ages but as soon as the conversations turns to something she doesn't know much about or there is an awkward silence she becomes shy and awkward once again. People sometimes think she is being rude when this happens but she isn't, she just doesn't know what to say.
At heart, she is a free-spirit. She tries to make the most of every day, and is optimistic, seeing the good in everything, never the bad at first. Sometimes she will just zone out and stare randomly at something. Preferring words to violence, she will fight if it is necessary though and isn't rash but tactful, not wasting energy with threats and shouts, using words only to taunt if needed.

"My past began very ordinary, really. I was born in a town, living with my parents and my two older brothers. I liked the town but my parents wanted to live in the country so when I was six we moved to a lovely little village. We had a large garden where we grew vegetables and the village school was very nice so people say I've had a nice upbringing and I guess I have. I've always loved animals and so, when I was ten, my parents took me to a pound and told me I could have my own dog as long as I looked after it. I chose and mongrel called Roxy, who turned out not to exactly be a dog. I looked after Roxy, and trained her. But then, when I was fourteen, things began to change. And Roxy began to speak to me. Gradually my friends didn't come to see me anymore and my parents became worried. The rest you know"

"Well, my most important belonging would be Roxy, though she isn't really a belonging, more of a companion. She looks like a mongrel normally, but actually is an Anubite. Another of my important belongings is my ukelele, it is wooden and I LOVE it. Anything else? Oh yes, my leather notebook. It's a bit scruffy but I take it with me most places"

Roxy is an anubite, named for similarities with the egyptian God Anubis. In mythical form, she become more jackal like with gold and dark blue markings around her neck and legs, but still like a dog. She is able to speak to Sammi in this form, only Sammi can hear her, and she has a few powers. One, she can sense when other creatures are near. Two, she can see in the dark and a night becomes very fast. Three, she can make herslef undetectable by any senses, and also the same for Sammi. It isn't invisibility, but stops her being noticed.

Normally, she is the size of a collie with a slightly sturdier build and a thicker head. Her fur is short and black, brown brindle is on legs and face. She is not built for speed or strength, but inbetween, having stamina, good speed if not amazing and a hunting instinct from her greyhound part.
When she changes to ehr mythical form, it is different. Her face becomes longer and more jackal like with longer ears. Her fur becomes smoother and completely black with a blue sheen. Round her neck she has gold and dark blue egyptian markings and the same around her legs. Her eyes turn gold.

[Okay, both accepted. May i just point out that i am very busy with this role play as i have to add only one characters name to atleast three posts. So please bear with me if im taking so slow. I am also racing to find powers to give out to others.
Also, Valiea, anyone can have a kirin. If anything you should want them to as that way you could race and such.

Edit:Just know that the teachers are up so you will see which teacher your character has and i do encourage love outside of your own element. And pure, you can do what you want as long as you dont bring out a monster fire breathing dragon at the last moment.]
