Jeremy spotted Cole and made his way towards him, grabbing a knife so he could defend himself in close combat. When he reached to the cornucopia he stood close to where Cole where, still an arrow on the strain of his bow. His eyes wondered the cornucopia trying to see an oppurtunity to kill someone, he kind of suspected a certain ammount of people had to be killed before they could flee and he had decided that he would not be one of those.

The countdown was over, the gong had echoed and Shay was gone. Her hair - as requested per her stylist - was knotted on the top of her head but she wasted a precious few seconds yanking the tie from the mass of chocolate curls and slotting it onto her wrist as she ran. Fighting with her hair down was now so natural and easy to her that it almost felt like having it up would be another obstacle to climb; another enemy to face. Strange but true, she mused as the distant cornucopia slowly grew before her narrowed eyes and within seconds she was locked in a mass of steel on steel and body falling to grass. Weaving her way through the tributes she quickly set her gaze on two long swords nearer the middle of the cornucopia, lying there as if made entirely and solely for her. An adrenaline-filled grin set on her face, Shay sprinted for the swords and snatched them both up. A little heavy, but they'd have to do. She set her sights on a boy near the middle ring of the cornucopia and started to sprint. Zayden was nowhere to be seen .. but she'd meet up with him later.
From the corner of her eye Shay could see the district four and twelve boys heading towards each other, both already loaded with weapons. She had a moment of sudden delerium and felt a burning curiosity to try and follow them, maybe join and kill them later in the games once she had secured herself a place in the final five. The phaze was gone as soon as it had appeared and Charmeine sprinted for Mike, now entirely focused on the kill.

Mike spotted a girl whom had two long sworsds in her hands, he panicked and fell down on one knee and raised his Spears against the girls chest, hoping that would stop her. He was all sweaty and his breathing quick, the thought of a close death gave him extra strength and he started running towards the girl, spear in front of him.

The boy's efforts might have been admirable to some, maybe even brave, but to Shay they were simply pathetic and maybe even downright hilarious. Her grin grew wider and she veered off course a little to avoid another tribute (she'd go back for her after she killed this one) then kept running full-on at the boy. Then, when the spear was about to impale her neck she raised her swords in a cross-formation and thrust them at the head of the spear, forcing the shaft of it upwards and - hopefully - out of his grasp. Her lower body )well, her whole body) was now completely undefended but the words he could probably do to her at the present moment in time was kick her, and Shey had sustained far worse injuries than that in the course of her career training.

Mike made som kind of thrust with the spear which made it fly over the girls head and rolled back grabbing some dirt and threw it against the girls face. He was panting heavily and his eyes were blank, knowing he would die soon. But He thought for himself he would try to get as many as possible with him.. The outfit he had gotten was already covered in sweat and some sweat also ran down his eyes which made some tears stream down his chin.
