The apprentice pricked her smaller ears, a smile spreading across her face. "A speed test sounds great!" She chirpsed, her eyes bright with excitement. She pranced in place as she tested her slightly-sore pad before discovering that no pain surged through it. Flutterpaw stopped her prancing, briefly shook out her fur, and looked towards Olivebreeze. "How?" She inquired curiously.

Olivebreeze purred, filled with the happiness of guiding Flutterpaw. "There's a rabbit nearby," she meowed. "Now, before you go running off to try and catch it, you need to know a few things. Rabbits are very speedy, and not very intelligent. When it sees or hears you, it'll go speeding off in the opposite direction. So, when you're partner hunting you want somebody on the other side to catch it." She paused, a grin on her face. "But I'm not going to help you right now. So you need to use your considerable intelligence-" she smiled at Flutterpaw- "to capture a rabbit. Good luck."

Boulderstride looked up at mewed, "Its boulderstride and yes why?" She mewed wanting to just talk to Pineclaw and leave.

Cloudstrike didn't flinch at Falconpaw. He knew he would have to change a little to get to Falconpaw. " You know, I'm not exactly happy with having a mouse-brain for an apprentice either. But, following the warrior code means I'm not going to try to change it. And, from my point of view, you have two options. Deal with the fact that I'm your mentor and things will go a little better. Or never get your warrior name. Now, I'm going hunting. As my apprentice, I suggest you follow." He told her, his voice as cold as ice. His eyes were hard and he got to his paws. Without looking back, he walked out of camp. In his mind, he was hoping Eaglestar wouldn't be offended by any of that.

"So, it was only my siblings, my aunt, and I who knew about it. When the question arose, we just said she went missing. And, after the fire when they all died, I was the only one left holding the truth. The forgotten ones, that no one thinks about." Wolfpaw said, sighing. She never had killed a soul, except for what was needed for food for the clan. No one had ever said she was a good apprentice except for those who were forgotten.

Tigerclaw drew her to his side and gently licked at her face in soft strokes, "It' snot your fault Wolfpaw." He murmured.

"They all say it isn't, but it is. That morning, I kept pushing Frostfeather to take us all out for a swim. Sure, a hawk got to her, but if we never went there... Then I would've been able to see her for longer." Wolfpaw took a breath.
"Sure, she would've died in the fire, since she hates fire and would refuse to move, but... I would've been able to save my siblings from the wolf."

The young tom perked his ears. Eaglestar had called his name, announcing him first! His tail quivered as he stood and lifted his head. Robinchaser! Cedarpaw didn't know who that was even. He hoped that whoever it was would be a good mentor. Cedarpaw scanned the crowd, but he had no clue who he was looking for. The tom sat back down next to his sister as the ceremonies closed, and wrapped his tail over his paws. His eyes fluttered a bit, and he yawned widely, but kept awake.

Raccoonstrike was a mentor! The thought made him excited and nervous. Duskpaw...he knew he had heard that name before. Duskpaw was from StoneClan though, wasn't he. Raccoonstrike wondered if many of the cats were upset about being given mentors or apprentices from different Clans than they had originally been from. Personally, the mottled warrior didn't mind. He was just thrilled to be given the task of mentoring. He lay down stiffly and wrapped his tail over his paws and lapped at his flank.

Wolfpaw nodded, saying before continuing,
"Yeah, I know I'm named Wolfpaw. She said, "When you become older, something will save you. It will be a Wolf." Yeah, whatever. That wolf didn't save anyone! It killed Rapidpaw first, then went after me!"
