Only now did Sam realize there were two people. Her attention had been focused on Penguin Dude, but there was actually someone else in the room. Interestingly enough, it seemed as if she was saddled with the task of explaining things fully in her own special fashion. "Well, I'm going to go ahead and assume that you're not like him," gesturing to said penguin dude, "and that you'll take an explanation. First of all, we are locked in this room which is torture enough. Second of all, the room is filled with kids that have all kinds of insane powers. Teleporting, check. Becoming cats at random, check. Flying, check. Electricity, check. And yet they are all teenagers and have room for their own problems. I suggest not to engage Penguin Dude over there just yet."

Assuming that the girl was referring to him, Walt just waved slowly at the blonde girl and the person she was talking to. He only really processed 'We're in a room and we have crazy powers.' Of course, that was basically all she had said.
He needed to explore! But the room was not something he could roam in. He wondered what powers he had, which was probably not a good idea because all of a sudden a burst of colorful light exploded in front of his eyes. He didn't really see it, but it had started at his hands. Had he done that? Wow.

"Never," Ellie crawled sarcastically, but walked to the centre of the room anyway. Over in the corner, she spotted a pile of dirty rags, and pulled a face. Untidy people. She leant down to pick them up, and leapt back in fright.

"No! Don't!" Sephone cried, pulling the blankets back. She saw the new girls' bewildered face, and scowled before nestling back down.

Ellie backed away. "Who the h*ll is that?" she asked, walking away from the corner in confusion. Then she turned to Sam and listened to the explanation. "Thanks. But what's crazy over there?" she pointed to the girl she had just disturbed. "Oh, I'm Ellie by the way. And you are?"

"Samantha, please call me Sam," she replied with a bit of a smile. "Sephone over there is probably the least crazy. She turns into Ivypool sometimes, I believe--Sephone, is it Ivypool?" she asked, cutting off her speech.

Raising an eyebrow at the light display "Penguin Dude" had just started, Nathan decided it was time to stop sulking in a metaphorical corner. He used one hand to lift himself up and forced a smile, looking around the room again. Takuto was okay. That was good.

Sephone poked her head up and nodded. "Yup! And I also know who he-" she pointed over at Dylan- "Is too, if you're interested." Then she ducked back down again.

"If anything, you seem more normal then her," Ellie commented with a smile. "So, just to get this straight: there's a bunch of teens locked in a room, all with freaky powers and looking like fictional characters?"

Shaan frowned at the new girl, she really wasn't catching along easily. After making sure Takuto was okay, he leapt up onto the top bunk and watched the new people curiously.
