Bluetail looked away for just a moment, before looking back at the tom-cat.

"I...I really don't know," she admitted quietly, and glanced over her shoulder at the prison den where no doubt Leopardfur was in, "a part of me wants to cuddle her and embrace her back into the Clan...But...The other half wants to be angry and bitter about this,"

She locked eyes with him; blue meeting yellow.

"I was going through the process of death on my part," she explained sadly, "I thought I was never going to see her again unless on the field of battle, so I had to force myself into believing that the Leopardfur I knew had died when she left me, us, behind. But now...She's back. I don't know how I feel...And I feel frustrated with myself between my own selfish feelings and the safety of the Clan and everyone in it,"

She fell silent and looked out into the forest for a moment, then back at Darkpelt.

"I just feel overwhelmed...That for the moment I just want to go back into the forest and just walk until I've overcome yet another shock to my system..."

With a gentle sigh he pressed his nose to her cheek. "I'm sure that whatever happens with Leopardfur and you will be StarClan's will, I wouldn't worry." Darkpelt personally strongly disliked Leopardfur, but it pained him to see Bluetail in such distress. For her, he would try not to be as hostile towards her... Even though his opinion on the matter stayed firm and unwavering; she should not be admitted as a full warrior ever again, never to be fully trusted. He flattened his ears as he met her pain-filled blue eyes, his own softening with sympathy for the she-cat.
