Crystal noticed he looked at the princess's "Um,maybe you should go, i mean im only a maid, youprobably want to hang around them, i think ill go" she said turning around. She smiled at the princess's and sighed, hopefully there'd be someone. She held her hankercheif tightly and started to leave.

Alex sighed, "Wait!" he studied her and smiled, "You're lonely aren't you? Go upstairs and wait in the library, I'll be there very soon." Without waiting for a reply, he turned on his heel and went back to the princesses, "Hello, Please forgive my rudeness, it was unforgivable. I believe I should quite like to dance with you first m'lady," he said looking toward Arabella.

"I suppose that would be alright," she smiled. "But wouldn't you like to dance with my friend over there?" She pointed over at Crystal and then waved for her to come over. "I noticed the two of you talking together and you seemed to be getting along fine," she smiled again, hoping Crystal would come. "I'm not much of a dancer, and even less of a person to have two dances in a row while her friend hasn't even had one."

Crystal opened her mother to reject then sighed. She was about to leave when Arabella called her over. She went over to the princess listening to her speak. She felt her face turn pink and she glanced up at them then looked down at her feet.

Crystal thought of some way to get out of the conversation and leave. She noticed the princess whisper something adn blushed even harder. She looked up at the three.

Arabella smiled at Crystal. "I hope you don't mind me putting you on the spot," she said, watching her friend blush again. She looked between Crystal and the young man. "It just seemed that you two were getting along so nicely. And I must do something to repay you for finding my friend for me, sir. I admit I thought I had lost her after that first dance."

Alex felt horrible, as though he seemed like a desperate jerk. He wanted to run upstairs and lock himself away in his room but that was not an option. He had to be strong, polite and formidable. He gave a quaint nod to Arabella and then returned his gaze to that of Crystal. "Of course, Crystal was it? Let's dance." he said, extending a firm hand.

Crystal swallowed hard, she felt like she could run away forever,then she calmed he seemed nice. she took his hand and looked at Arabelle and Serena. She blinked once or twice then smiled brightly 'Okay" she said softly.
