Ohhkay, so there's a boy that I've got to know over the semester who's a grade below me and he's really nice. The problem is I know he has a crush on me, but when we first met he lied about his age and to be honest I never quite think of him in more than a friend-ish way, if that. He keeps texting me with loads of 'x's in a not-really-serious way (I hope) and while my friends say I should just tell him straight that I'm not interested and whatever, I'd really hate to do that to him because he's actually really sweet and being hard on people just isn't really .. me. All my friends tease me about him and it kind of gets on my nerves which only adds to the confusion and whatever of what I'm supposed to do. This is kind of my first-ish experience in this area, so advice would be appreciated c:

personally, i would be crushed if something like that happened to me. i mean, over time i have gotten used to this whole unrequited love thing myself, but he might be new to it, and it burns so much if you are not used to the pain.
the only real advice i have is to look at it from his point of view, look at yourself from his eyes.

You probably ought to tell him you don't feel that way. Or at least make it clear that you are just friends and that you want it to stay that way. Don't lead the poor boy on if he thinks he really has a chance but doesn't. It may make things awkward, even tense, but it might be better than the awkwardness of him becoming more obvious about liking you.

There is no right or wrong way though, so do whatever you feel is right. Just don't do whatever's 'easiest'.

I have a crush on this guy lets call him j. Last year j was always following me around like a lost puppy. He had a huge crush on me last year and that freaked me out a little so I pushed him away and distanced myself from him... This year I'm kinda starting to develop this crush on j. If I ever need someone to talk to he's there and he listens. We text a lot and I kinda want to tell him that I like him but idk if I should... He's friends with some of my friends and I usually invite him to come do stuff with us yet he hasn't yet... He does however apologize a lot for not being able to go... Idk if that means anything... He asked me who I liked one time and I told him that I didn't exactly know who I could trust... I'm really self conscious so I kinda told him that I didn't want to tell him and he understood... but, i don't exactly know how to say, "hey, i have a boyfriend. surprise!" because i started dating a boy after finding out christian liked me... what should i do?

Ok. This is LONG but I think it reads like a soap opera haha so it's not too boring.
You guys have absolutely no idea how much I would appreciate it if someone read this and answered my two questions, preferably over PM. I can't tell anyone in RL, and it is killing me.

I have known this one guy for twoish years. He was my best friend for a long time. We exchanged 100+ texts every single day and talked on the phone all the time. We didn't hang out that much, though, because he's always busy with band, and my parents wouldn't let me go over his house.
I started to really like him.
I have never told anyone about this ever.

Freshman year, though, we gradually grew apart because I went to private school. He got more and more involved with band, while I got caught up in the machine of my new school. I run XC, so I never get home from school until 6:00, after which time there is always plenty of homework to do. We stopped talking.

Over the course of band, he met a senior girl. He got taller. They went to senior prom (and he was a freshman!!) I saw him at the Relay for Life in June after not talking to him at all for several months, and he had completely changed. Rather than the shy boy I was used to, he was quite obviously flirting with his girlfriend and walking around with her alone in the dark.

I don't know if he's still dating her. He has never, ever mentioned her.

I thought I had stopped liking him. I actually grew pretty angry at him for abandoning me. Last week, though, I found a letter he wrote to me during our insanely boring science class in the 8th grade. I took a picture and sent him it, and we talked like before. We went to a party with my 8th-grade friends a few days later and talked a lot there, then made plans to hang out.

I texted him for three or four hours one night and talked to him on the phone for three hours the next. Both times, though, I initiated it. I texted him first. I called him first - every. Single. Time. I even recommended we hang out.

We went to see a movie - Les Mis. We originally planned to see it alone, but I suggested his friend come along with us the next day, and he agreed. We sat in a row - me in the middle - and I talked pretty much the whole time. It was a boring movie. We kind of flirted with each other, I guess, shoving each other around and leaning in to each other's faces. I initiated most of the talking, though.

Later, he drove me home in a snowstorm. I texted him to make sure he and his friend were OK, and we talked a little bit before telling me my face was remniscient of my brother's when I whined (my brother is really, really annoying, and this offended me). I said my brother and I have the same face (which is practically true), and he said that was true.

That's it.

Now, he's driving to Florida (from CT, where we live) on a 24-hour bus ride with a girl that hates me. I guarantee this is true; I have plenty of evidence. To be honest and skip the "modesty," it's obvious that she is jealous of me. She's really short and ugly, and none of the boys like her, while they all liked me (that was what broke my old friend group apart). She wants him to be her best friend because she's ridiculously jealous, but I feel like he liked me better before. I don't know about now.

One more detail: Three of his best friends have liked me in the past, but I kind of led them on without dating them. This was two years ago, though, even before I met him.

Could someone please tell me:
1) Judging by this boy's pretty flirtatious behavior BUT failure to take any initiative ever, do you HONESTLY think he likes me? Please do not worry about hurting my feelings. I promise you will not.
2) I am probably going to a New Year's party at his house. Should I try to kiss him at midnight? HONESTLY? Do you think it would do any good? I want to :3
