Ignoring the minor discussion about him and his mental state, Walt proceeded to become slightly curious--not really caring about what answer he got, but nevertheless asking "Why are there a bunch of us in a room?" He honestly wasn't used to the fact that they might be socializing. Really, nobody was very accommodating of his craziness.
