brushing her long black hair out of her face Kete looked around with her deep green eyes, after she crawled from the hollow tree she had slept in the night before. stretching her arms she moved down to the water and splashed some water on her face. ~ now to find something to eat~ she thought.

It was April 3rd, 1776. I have just returned from a trip to Italy not a week ago. Things were going well with the Order here, better than they were when I first came here. I am very happy to say that. Right now, I was walking through the woods of the homestead. Not looking for anything in particular, just walking.

Who was that, in the clearing up there? I get a little closer, completely silent, then make myself visible. "Who are you, and why are you here?"

"You live out here?" I have never seen her before, I wonder how long she has been here...

Kete nodded " Yes.. for about 9 years now" She said

Nine years? Wow... "Do you need a place to stay?" I offer, not really thinking about it before I say it. No one should be forced to live out in the wold for so long, all alone like that.
