Sephone recognised the guy over with Sam... Dylan, right, from the orphanage? But he had also seen him come in, and the part of her that was Ivypool had bristled with horror.
Dylan had been fused with Tigerstar.
And now Sephone had no doubt they were playing with fire, and someday, one day, there was going to be an explosion.

God, what was up with Rider? Nathan honestly didn't know, but he was scared. Sitting in a more comfortable position, he put his hands on his knees and looked at the ground, not daring to watch her.

Sam glared at the girl fused with Peter Pan. It might've been rude of her, but honestly! As if nobody had problems. Whatever crazy boyfriend drama might be happening, it couldn't be worse than what everybody else was dealing with. Determined to do something, Sam stood up fully and picked up two plates. She walked over to the white haired boy's bed--Shaan, she believed--and set a plate down next to him on the sheets. It was a modest helping, just some buttered bread, an egg, and a glass of water untouched by the little incident, but it was more than hers, which had about a quarter filled glass and regular bread. "You okay?" she asked carefully, kneeling in front of him and not looking quite into his eyes. "Not sure what Things One and Two are doing over there, but you don't deserve to be part of their wrath." She was just being polite, but it probably came off the wrong way. Urgh.

Shaan looked at the girl and smiled wryly, gently brushing his white hair out of his face and looking down at the food, "Uh, Thankyou." he replied shyly. He looked down at the ground where the silver haired boy, Takuto, lay and gasped softly, leaping off of the top bunk and hurrying to his side, "W-what happened?" he asked softly as he looked back at the girl that had kindly given him food.

Sephone crept forward, trying not to let Dylan see her. She crouched down beside Shaan and tapped him on the shoulder. "We tried to open the door," she whispered, "And we failed. He was knocked out by the electricity, I think." She bit her lip in worry.

Shaan flinched when someone tapped his shoulder, he snapped his head around, looking at the girl with worried eyes. "Why would you let him go near it?" Shaan questioned quietly as he turned back to Takuto and gently picked him up.

"He said he could do it," Sephone whispered, flinching. His words had stung her. "It was stupid of me, I know. I'm sorry."

Shaan gently shook his head and lay Takuto on the bed, kneeling beside him. He did honestly feel mad that the girl allowed him to go near the door, but he was also mad at himself for not keeping an eye out for Takuto. He let out a long, soft sigh and turned to Sephone, "I didn't mean it that way, sorry." I said softly.

"It's okay," she breathed. "He'll be okay," she added, before backing into her corner and disappearing amongst the shadows.

Takuto groaned a little as his eyes opened to a small squint. He coughed, still feeling electricity in his system.

Shaan was probably the first thing that Takuto could see, since he was right over him, "Are you okay?" he asked softly, kneeling by his side once again.

Sephone watched from the dark as Takuto awoke. Her heart beat faster with relief; she was glad he was okay. f something had happened to him... she'd never be able to forgive herself.
