My dad has an empty, well-planted 75 Gallon tank in the basement that I want to move them to. But the thing is, other river fish have done poorly there. It's winter, so the stream is frozen, and I feel they deserve more room. Would it be a good idea to move them?
Maybe they did poorly because the conditions were not the best for their breed? Look into what each fish needs and then see if you can tweak the tank to their correct conditions.
I don't really know the specific breed of the minnow, since I caught him behind my house. Sunfish are easier to tell apart from other fish, so I know that it's a sunfish. What do you suggest searching for minnow? Just minnow? That term is as vague as catfish, and it has hundreds of species within it.I'm going to move them. They really need more space. The tank they are in is just under three times the minnow's length. So the question is, what should I stock the tank with? It still has my 7-year-old cory cat in it, and I want to get some flashy tropicals I can breed. I was thinking guppies or mollies. Are there any small fish that breed easier, or are flashier? And which breeds easier, guppies or mollies? I am also going to clean my aquarium really well before getting new fish. Should I let it sit for a few days/hours, or go and get them right after cleaning? Thanks c:

I just started with my 80 L aquarium a few months ago. ^^ I aslo have a 40 L tank.
I currently have three swordtail fry in my 80 L, they seem to be doing quite fine and the adult fish dont seem to interested in eating them. So is it fine if I just let them be?
I'm going to buy a 180 L tank soon aswell, and move all my fish over there so I belive it will be plenty of space for them to swim when they reach adulthood. ^^

Hi guys!
My crowntail betta, Inkblot, has been of late biting his fins a lot. It's not finrot, they're not discolored at all,, he's just chewing. He's an aggressive fish and bites me a lot, but why his tail?
I don't think it's because he doesn't have enough space to swim, he's in a two gallon long and he's a small little fish.
I've been dosing him on Bettafix (he has no lung reactions, thank god) and Stress Coat for a while now, but he won't stop. His water level is fine, so that's not the problem and he gets fed daily.
Anyone experienced anything like this?

Do you have a heater? Filter? Pictures of your set up?
Honey, it's in the stars
And you're my everything from here to Mars
And every word I say I truly mean
Dear darling, I hope I'm being clear
'Cause there's no one like you on earth
That can be my universe
