Two would probably be enough for this brief patrol, but even so, Darkpelt had no patience to gather other cats to join them. He wondered what Bluetail was doing with that other tom, whom he immediately disliked. As they neared the border, Leopardfur's scent became thick. "Leopardfur was here recently. Probably from when she ran off so cowardly after the fight." He growled. "Let's mark here and move downhill. We might be able to catch some prey while we're out." Darkpelt said as he went to mark the boundary lines.

Bluetail watched with fascination as Firestrike killed his rabbits with speed and precision. Bluetail dropped her mice and attacked two young rabbits in the same fashion as she did with the mice; one in her jaws and one under her paws with it's spine crushed.

"Hmm, not bad for a hunt," she mewed and collected her rabbits and mice into her jaws by their scruffs.

Familiar scuffling overhead made her look up, and she saw the bushy tail of a squirrel with yearning, and she began to salivate behind her rabbits and mice.

She quickly glanced down to Firestrike and smiled.

"Want to catch something else, or do you think this is enough for breakfast?" she meowed good-naturedly.
