THIS IS MY LITTLE PEICE OF HEAVEN ON EARTH
♣ ♣ ♣
Snowpaw looked at the moon expectantly. He
had wished for his mentor to come back. He
simply missed Ivy. She had gone off for the hunt
and not returned. Perhaps on of the warriors on
the night hunt will come back with her. Snowpaw
howled sadly as a dark shadow came up from
behind. His cold aurora frightened him.
"Come." He had whispered to the young pup as he
bolted towards the forest. The pup hesitantly
followed. The two raced throw the snow-bound
forest, leaping over dozens of logs. Suddenly the
stranger had stopped. Beneath the soft moonlight,
Snowpaw could finally see his true face.
It was Darkness, the loner of the forest. The young
and old rumored that he had killed the past alpha and
tried to run the pack, but failed. Darkness was banished
from the pack- never to set foot in camp again. He
doesn't seem bad, the pup thought. The wolf away from
Snowpaw and motion him to come closer. As Snowpaw
neared Darkness, he shivered and gasped. Infront of him
lay a frail wolf, with a blood-stained pelt. Only if you
looked closely, you could make out its white fur. The female
whimpered. She was dying. Then the pup knew. Darkness
had brought him here to bring this wolf to camp. He could
not save her.
"Snowpaw, stay away from me. Go. The prophecy doesn't
want you here. I must die," she whispered, her voice barely
audible. The young pup wondered how she knew his name.
"No, you cannot. You must live. It doesn't state that you
must sacrifice yourself," Darkness growled. The white wolf
whimpered again.
"Snowpaw- go and take her back to camp. She doesn't belong
here. You belong with the rest." The black wolf said simply.
Walking towards the weak wolf, Snowpaw realized it was his
mentor. Yelping, he whimpered and snuggled close to her. He
doubted that Darkness hurt Ivy, but he couldn't prove he had
not. Turning to confront him, he realized the loner had left.
Silently, he took Ivy back to camp.
Snowpaw was the hero that day, but he knew, deep down,
Darkness was the one who saved her.

As a thanks to Snowpaw for saving Ivy, the current alpha named the young pup to be the heir to the pack. But as a result, his heart turned a dark shade of evil. Little did the pack know, Snowpaw was going to change. As the alpha passed, Snowpaw gained control of the pack, and began by setting a few rules. He wanted to lead the pack on his own conditions, which were quite harsh. Some supported Snowpaw's dark ideas, and others deeply refused.
The pack was split into two- one of bright hearts and clear souls, the other of darkness. Why? Simply because Snowpaw wanted to be the hero again. He wanted the taste of glory and the sensation if everyone bowing down to you. Yet, even though Snowpaw thought only for himself, he was greatly supported. On the night of the full moon, it became offical, the Nox pack, meaning night in Latin and the Caelestis pack, the pack of divine.
War continued on- warriors died and territories were lost. But Snowpaw wasn't satisfied yet. His hunger for destruction continued on. Even though the elders had warned him there was no more prey left and food shall be scarce, he wanted to destroy the Caelestis camp. Jealousy was his motivation. Even though both packs were successful, Caelestis seemed more closely knitted. It seemed like their alpha ruled better than Snowpaw.
So when the day came, Snowfall warriors stalked onto the Caelestis territory, ready to make an impression. They were going to destroy the pack, for good.

Snowfall failed. Caelestis won the battle, and Snowpaw died in the process. Some called it karma, while others called it bad luck. The line between the pack deepened, and the rivalry continued. But even though the war has drifted off, both packs have to endure the storm on limited food.
Is Mother Nature trying to teach them the lesson of a lifetime, or is this simply revenge of the innocent deaths caused by Snowpaw? Will both packs live through the series of storms? Is this the end?
