If you have a sketchbook, what do you draw in it? Only characters of yours or other things? And do you make only sketches, or do you color/shade/etc. as well?

I usually just use my notebooks for school as sketchbooks, though I have had real sketchbooks before. I usually just sketch out linearts, but sometimes i'll pencil in markings, though 99% of the time it's my fursona Larkspur who really only has 1 small eye marking XD I rarely shade them and if I do it's only for practice and i've only colored a handful of pictures. If I mess up badly where i can't just erase and redo it I just turn to a clean page, I don't see why you have to scribble or tear it out.

If I had a sketchbook, (Okay. It's probably going to be semi-lit. so If you don't like to read, don't read xD )
I would probably draw all random stuff with it. Once I had this page full of pokemons, and the nextpage I drew a venus flytrap, and then there was a slime. Also, I drew a little comic, and then I had some doodles, and some messed up things, and I also had christmas and summer,fall,spring deco's fashions and stuff, I also did some realistic drawings of hands and flowers, but flowers didn't turn out so good. I sketched my piano, which looked horrible, and I tried to sketch my stuffed animals, it worked out okay, then later I think I went on the computer to find references; that's what I usually do. I usually google like; chibi cats' chibi raindeers chibi vocaloids chibi everyhting in this whole world or just like a cake. I sometimes draw food, but not too much since it makes me hungry when I do that, and we have barely anything at our house. Sometimes I sketch the map that's hanging from my wall. I have like 3 maps. Maps are hard to draw. Sometimes I trace stuff, since 'tracing' is a beginning of the art talent. If you think about it. When professional's are doing portraits, you're 'tracing' the person's head. You're not making it up and drawing it, unless charicature, but anyways, and everything starts out as tracing too. so I sometimes trace, I sometimes glue my origami stuff there. I also draw my fan stuff' ; like pewdiecry or vocaloids or ib or my game characters. I love to draw game characters. They have different poses, and weapons, and I have my fav one. She's Amy Plie Aruha. My real name's That, well, not the last and the middle name. It's not my REAL REAL name since I'm Korean, but my english maiden name is Amy. That might be why I like her the best. Sometimes I draw notes, and instruments in there. I sometimes make choreographys in my sketchbook. sometimes I write picture journals. You can do really, anything in there. I don't usually color or shade, but I do sometimes color with my pencil, if you know what I mean. I barely highlight, since it's so hard.

When I do something hideous or mess up, then I usually erase it, of course. but when I do doodles, I think that there is no such thing as an 'eraser'. So I finish what I draw. and I name it something really funny. Like; if you didn't draw her neck, the world's shortest neck ; I label it, so it wouldn't look weird, if you know what I mean. When I mess up the hair: Bad hair day. When a car doesn't have a wheel; future no-wheel car and stuff. xD it's pretty fun thinking of names for those indeed.
